Also just wanted to note we'll have 11 top 30 prospects in AAA when Vlad gets there and 6 guys in AA.

Good young pitcher with a good fastball.

So far between two leagues he's 2 and 1

with a 1.86 overall ave. with 20 strike outs.

and 1 walk. Has long way to go but at 18 is

a kid to watch down the road.

As of right now the blue jays have a very deep prospect pool. (100)

Hope he keeps improving. Might be a better bullpen guy though then starter but we

will see.

Last year the jays signed three international free agents.

I'm wondering were the jays put them. Juan Acosta and

Nelfi Santos, Eddyzon Monero Any with any ideas.

Where do you rank Medina on your top 100?

I've heard Acosta and Santos are injured. Not sure what the deal is with Monero.

Where do you have Otto Lopez? And what can you say about him?

I predict a big night for Alford ;)

Edit - Anybody ever looked at the numbers to see if there is a Vlad effect?

With Vladdy Jr. making his AAA debut this evening, Sportsnet Tonight will go live to each one of his at-bats. @JGoldberg12 & @TAMacKenzie are on the air at 7:00. #BlueJays #Bisons

Seriously though, when was the last time a Jays fan could actually be excited about a position player in the UPPER minors? Probably Snider off the top of my head. We were all super hyped for him. This is exciting.

Brett Lawrie, easily.

We all thought JPA was God after his MLB debut and clamoring tracking his progression in the minors. However, neither he nor Snider were ever in the same pedigree as Vlad jr.

They should just start broadcasting Bisons game. They are a lot more interesting to watch than the Blue Jays.

Seriously.. Advertisers would get a bigger bang for their buck..

No one thought that, in fact many people here prophesized that JPA would get destroyed in the MLB after his lucky AAA season in the PCL.

There were a lot of fan boys.. You might not have felt that way and maybe there was not consensus on this board... No idea, I was on a different board back then.. However there was a LOT of excitement about him.. People were really pissed at Cito for playing the veterans and not giving him a shot.. it was tangible..

I'd say between 70 and 75 right now. More good young players.

One of the upcoming players though the jays system. If he

keeps taking steps forward watch out for this guy. he is bound to

make the jays top 50 soon. Maybe by the end of this year. or some time next year. So far this

year he is hitting 320 give or take. One more player to keep a eye on is Tanner Kirwer. And for pitching this

Marcus Reyes guy is kicking ass

I didn't feel that way, at the time I didn't have an understanding of things like bat speed, exit velocity, age in the minors.

There was supposed to be a "NOT" before felt that way.. Edited my post.

Where do you think Vladdy bats in his Blue Jays debut?

Leadoff or 2-hole

Probably in instructs as he's fresh out of high school.

"Instructs" is a camp at the end of September/October. He's probably just on the backfields building up arm strength. There's been no word on what the plan is for him.

Sorry, that's what I mean, in Dunedin. They play games also with other clubs.

Has there been any word on Adam Kloffenstein and why he isn't pitching?

He's just 17. He's playing Pokémon gold at home
