Kopech would be third in our top 10 in my opinion. Their depth is considerably better though.

Behind Bo or Alford? I would consider Bo our #2 but I know some don't.

Behind Bo in my opinion. I think that an argument can be made for Alford as well. Kopech still profiles as a guy who will struggle to start long term.

Yeah I could see that. His control is pretty awful!

A-ball stats over AA-ball stats?

Sure but Bo has just been too damn good for his age/level. It's the old Ceiling vs Floor argument imo. I side with ceiling.

I drafted Bo 2 years ago, but I need to see him destroying AA-ball first to make a powerful judgment.

That's perfectly fair.

Two years, you say? That's interesting, considering he got drafted thirteen months ago.

Yeah that White Sox top 10 is f***ing legendary right now. I wonder if it will work out for them!

Bo Bichette through 22 games in Rk: .427/.451/.732 with a 1.182 OPS, 6BB and 17K and 4HR

Ryan Noda through 23 games in Rk: .463/.551/.756 with a 1.307 OPS, 16BB and 20K and 4HR

Obviously Noda is 3 years older than Bo, and Rookie league is Rookie league, but those numbers shouldn't go unnoticed at any level. Hope they move him up soon.

Noda 2/4 again tonight with a HR, triple and walk.

Would there be precedent for a prospect like that coming around like that?

It's funny how quickly all these Ryan Noda superfans have forgotten about Bradley Jones.

Matt Carpenter comes to mind - he was a 13th round pick out of college. Noda is a 15th round selection out of college.

Way too early to make any judgements, it's just unfortunate they have nowhere to put him closer to his age.

1b at Vancouver has Clemens, Nash Knight in Lansing (where Noda would be about league average age), and Pentecost still playing a lot at 1b in Dunedin.

f*** it, punt Knight... He's a nobody. Noda is hitting like .460 over 91 PA. It's obviously not challenging him

Wanting a guy to play against more age appropriate competition because hes clearly not being challenged is being a superfan?

Someone just compared his stats to Bo's lmfao.

Noda is essentially irrelevant.

Tellez quickly not talked about

He's having a pretty horrible year but peripherals are still decent. He's still only 22 in AAA, he's got plenty of time to turn it around and still our closest prospect to the majors. I think he's going through some family stuff too.

Everything I've read about his worth ethic makes me think he will turn it around.

Funny because scouts and prospect writers said he would struggle in the high minors with velocity because of his swing and a lot of people here mocked them for it and turns out he's exactly done that.

Do you know for a fact it's velo he's having issues with? I can't imagine there's a huge average velo difference between AA and AAA with all the junkballers kicking around AAA

RE: Tellez

How much harder can they throw in AAA compared to AA?
