burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2016 Posted May 14, 2016 Borucki had a bit of a bounceback start. The strikeouts for Alford are super concerning and weird. He must still be hurt. Striking out over half the time with zero XBH.
Spanky__99 Old-Timey Member Posted May 14, 2016 Posted May 14, 2016 He must still be hurt. Striking out over half the time with zero XBH. They should pull him back, if his knee isn't a 100%.

mikebel111 Verified Member Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 Alford has to be playing injured, someone can't just become this bad so quickly In positive news, Pentecost hasn't lost any of his bat speed it seems

mikebel111 Verified Member Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 Tulo says hi. I still maintain Tulo will turn it around, but even if he doesn't, it still doesn't fit the argument. Tulo isn't playing hurt for all we know, while Alford is playing with a brace. Not to mention the age difference between the 2. I don't see how those 2 cases are related

It's crazy to start worrying about Alford.

THANOS Old-Timey Member Posted May 17, 2016 Posted May 17, 2016 Travis 2 for 3 with a 2B amd a BB. A typical Travis game. Patience and line drives. I can't wait till he comes back up.

King Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Who do you rank above him? I can really only think Alford at the moment. Urena, maybe SRF based on pure upside/pedigree.
Sorrow Verified Member Posted May 18, 2016 Posted May 18, 2016 Urena, maybe SRF based on pure upside/pedigree. I'm still a bit out on Urena because of how far from the MLB he realistically is. I've also had similar thoughts on SRF. If Penetecost moves back behind the plate, or somewhere like 2B and keeps performing well and proving health that's another fun piece. I'm still probably over hyped on Tellez as well. Powers starting to come into his game, BBs are up, Ks are still in that 20% range. He's not going to ride a .210 BABIP all season either.
Josh Kasevich Buffalo Bisons - AAA SS Kasevich tallied 3 hits on Thursday including his 17th double. He's now hitting .303 on the season. Explore Josh Kasevich News >
