BlueJayWay Verified Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 I had to take a train from Union to Milton one day on a Saturday and I asked the ticket booth guy why it was only buses and no trains today? He told me if I could get 1000 people he would get me a train. So maybe? haha No GO Trains from Milton to Union on the weekends..
art_vandelay275 Verified Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Happier thoughts.. So I couldn't get any playoffs tickets but I did get a hotel room for Fridays game facing the field at the Renaissance Hotel. The best part? I can bring my own booze! How much do those rooms cost?
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Only the Lakeshore line runs both ways all day I believe. I know the milton line only runs weekdays and -> Toronto from like 6-10am and -> Milton from like 4-7pm. It doesnt run both ways at the same time. Ah, gotcha. I take the Lakeshore West so I guess I assumed everyone had the same convenience. My bad.
Governator Community Moderator Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 What do you mean? People still need to travel to and from work... It'll run on its normal schedule. If the game is at 8pm, pretty sure there are no trains when it ends. I believe the last train departs by 8ish.

Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 I know why. Gibbons is a dumbass. He truly is. Plus it probably takes 2 at-bats away from him.
Baseball Player Verified Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 How much do those rooms cost? It was $1200 for the night. But we have 6 guys going and since you can bring your own booze that basically makes paying $200 each a moot point.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Collabello!! Also Twins got 2 on and 1 outs in a 5-1 game! Maybe!
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 apparently 15 is a round number. lol @ Buck
baubau Verified Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Tulo hasn't looked that great at the plate today. NOUUU!!
Governator Community Moderator Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 If Hutchison started we would have a better chance of putting up 10+ fosure.

vdubmvp Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Ah, gotcha. I take the Lakeshore West so I guess I assumed everyone had the same convenience. My bad. Same, so I was super confused by these questions. I go Long Branch to Union (if I don't take the subway) and I've never had any issue going to or from games. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that others are often inconvenienced, considering how awful public transportation is in general.
HammerJay Verified Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Empty the bench after 5. Time to see the Buffalo Bisons play. Would like to see more Matt Hague.
Baseball Player Verified Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Wow $1200! Renaissance now knows what Ritz Carlton is like every single day... I thought it was a decent deal when you got 5 other people chipping in. Now I just have to get a good a good excuse ready for why I won't be into work Friday haha
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 2 down now but still bases juiced for the Twins
baubau Verified Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Pillah SO incoming. You didn't see nuttin
art_vandelay275 Verified Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 pillar shouldn't swing at that... they need to let the ump work for them... they are taking the ump out of the game which is not good after what he did to Papa B
baubau Verified Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Beltre just shot a 2 run HR. 3-2 Rangers. Oppo Taco.
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Rangers up 3-2 Beltre Homer

Weekend afternoon games are great but yeah during the week it's not an option from Barrie line. Last train departs here at like 8am and you have like a 4:30-7:00pm window to catch it back. So options are drive in, bus it or drive to say finch or yorkdale and subway in.
intentional wok Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 f***kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk Why?
baubau Verified Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 f***kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk Nah its great! If Angels miss the postseason JD is more likely to win MVP. He sure has slacked compared to Trout the past week or so.
Baseball Player Verified Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 Why? We want the rangers to lose and astros to win so they have to play a 1 game playoff and burn their aces
baubau Verified Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 This Meathook guy is going to be fun to watch. More for regression next season. TB Rays LOLBello right there.

Jonn Old-Timey Member Posted October 4, 2015 Posted October 4, 2015 So that's the terrible camera man guys.
