Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 What are you talking about? They have the same team minus Price, and plus Travis and Stroman. no price, burly, and probably no estrada is 3/5 of the starting rotation so maybe even with martin's backloaded contract, they can afford a FA pitcher on a multi year more likely the SP is Stro, Dickey, Hutch, Osuna (?), ? offensively, yes, no change other than a year older
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 sounds about right Don't tease me with this Heyward business.
BTS Community Moderator Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 What are you talking about? They have the same team minus Price, and plus Travis and Stroman. Well they are the second oldest team in baseball (by a hair). Attrition has to claim someone eventually. They've been remarkably fortunate with guys like Bautista, Edwin, Buehrle and Dickey not missing a beat into their mid/late 30s.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 Let's face it, the team was supposed to be in tatters by now after the horrible Marlins and Mets trades, but it isn't.
BTS Community Moderator Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 Guys, it might be the beer, but I've agreed with 100% of Jimcanuck's posts ITT.

Stroman, Dickey, Hutch, Osuna, possibly Kazmir or Samardzija. I would wet myself if we nabbed Heyward for RF and moved JB to first.

ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted September 19, 2015 Posted September 19, 2015 Also, wasn't Bautista in decline after the 2012 season? And, are we still concerned about EE?
