vdubmvp Old-Timey Member Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 lol maybe. I'm guessing majority is in the 30s but I don't know. We should have an anonymous poll with age ranges. I think we already had that poll.

Madkenstalin Verified Member Posted September 22, 2015 Posted September 22, 2015 What's the average age amongst the posters? 39 here. Went to first Jays game in 1989. Been to on average one every two years since then.

West Texas Forever Old-Timey Member Posted September 22, 2015 Author Posted September 22, 2015 Haha not even, just some food and drinks with real Jays fans in this city, tired of seeing lame 905 fake bro fans flooding the streets and bars.
West Texas Forever Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2015 Author Posted September 29, 2015 Bumping this to see if anyone wanted to meet up tonight for a beer after a potential clinch.
West Texas Forever Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2015 Author Posted September 29, 2015 What is your issue with people from the 905 it makes zero f***ing sense lol. Living 40 minutes outside of Toronto doesn't make you a fake fan lol. The 905 comes into the city of Toronto, clogs up the highways, destroys the gardiner and pays zero into the upkeep. Toronto taxes pay for the entire upkeep of the gardiner and DVP. I think a simple toll for the 905 using our highways would go a long way. As for the 400 series highways, Ontario taxes pay for those so it is only fair for the 905 to kick in on the upkeep of a service they use everyday.

I'm tired of seeing fake lame fans who have just joined this board over the last month, thinking they've been Blue Jays fans for the last 20-30 years!

FYI, a lot of people from the 905 do take public transit such as the GO Train or TTC to get downtown. So I guess people that live in the 416 should pay tolls when they take the QEW to Hamilton or the 400 when they go up to cottage country?

Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted September 29, 2015 Posted September 29, 2015 Tolls for everybody! As long as we can lease the toll roads to a foreign company for a one time fee and never see another dime for the roads!

I've actually lived at Queen & Roncesvalles for 11 years and have never heard of this place. Is it new? It's hard to keep up with what bars are opening and closing when you're in your 30s

Governator Community Moderator Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 All you *******s who clog up my town on Fridays evenings, Saturday mornings and Sundays can just place your toonie on the side of the Mapleview or Bayfield exit ramps. tyvm.
blurnandez Verified Member Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Well, what that Texas guy said about tolls is actually pretty on-point. Paying a road-toll to enter a major urban centre deters traffic and raises funds for infrastructure projects. It's something that Toronto may do in the future. But he makes that point in a dick way, so the hate he gets is understandable.
