gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 I'm wondering how serious this is. Could this be played through? Small crack in shoulder blade? I would think bare minimum would be two weeks. He's most likely done for the year.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Pennington going to zone in.

Jonzo Verified Member Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 We cannot afford to lose him for he year. This will hurt our chances for WS significantly.
Jonzo Verified Member Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 If it's a small crack, 4 weeks might do. That could mean a return for ALDS.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 We cannot afford to lose him for he year. This will hurt our chances for WS significantly. Not really.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 At least we have Ryan Goins to play SS for a while with no significant loss defensively. And considering Tulo was struggling offensively, it may not be completely a bad thing. But we may need to call up another INF just in case..
ValiantJaysFan Verified Member Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 I hope Pillar runs into a brick wall and doesn't get up.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Not really. Is that a joke?

thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Have you even seen Tulo offensively lately? He hasn't impressed much. Oh will you stop with this ********?
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Also, Pillar is a f***ing moron. Guy shows zero restraint on either side of the ball. He makes so many stupid decisions because he can't reel himself in. f*** off, Pillar. Can we get Pompey some starts down the stretch please?
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Tulo injured? No wai. You are terrible.

Stangstag Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Guys, this injury sucks but this doesn't affect our playoff chances too much. Goins and Pennington will provide excellent D up the middle and we still have Revere, Donaldson, Jose, Edwin, Martin, Smoak and Colabelo. Jays will be fine.

It is a huge loss and it's not like it was unavoidable either. That's what angers me more.

This team would be crazy if Tulo and Travis were healthy.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Is that a joke? He said it will hurt us significantly. All I'm saying it's a blow, but not earth shattering. We don't lose much of anything defensively and we we're winning with Tulo struggling offensively. We have enough offense to compensate.
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Wow, shoulder crack on that. Yikes.
xposbrad Verified Member Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Watch the slow mo replay. That looked painful af. Pillar tapped him, he was almost stopped. If you break a bone on that play, it's time to start incorporating a lot more milk into your diet.

jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Expect them to call up Burns or Diaz to fill the empty spot on the bench with Tulo's injury.
EMK19 Verified Member Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 Praying for at least one miracle out of either Travis/Tulo to happen by the playoff time... I wonder which one looks more likely at this point.
