Yeah, he'll get a nice contract. I don't think it will be record breaking or anything though, do you? Where do you think he will go?

Chris Davis will sign with the Yankees next year. I'm like 98% sure.

i doubt it, with tex and Arod under contract where would he play?

Suddenly we only have three SP. Hopefully Stroman can put up some innings. Everything I read on Buehrle seems to be a question mark.

Last thing he said was he's getting old and things maybe starting to breakdown.

Not exactly endorsing

f*** that albatross contract, I want Votto on this team! Him and Joey Bats will make it a nightmare for pitchers AND UMPS!!

What a season Votto's been having this year too. He's pretty much totally exploded on field as well.

Has Joey Bats ever gone full out George Brett style Apesh*t like Votto just did though? Bats of course barks at them a lot but can't remember last time he actually blew over in that similar fashion.

Indeed. He'd be 2nd best player on this team behind JD not to mention he'd be excellent in this lineup being a LHH.

I want to say "Yes" but the only real blow out I can remember from a Jay recently is Lawrie and that was long ago.

Imagine if Delelol didn't s*** the bed.

I hope every reliever that wasn't on the team before the September callups don't even get looked at for the Yanks series.

They've really destroyed our bullpen numbers as of late.

Man we just got raped before going in to Yankee Stadium.

Yep. Can barely walk going into NY.

Let's go, back to winning tomorrow! Fk you Kelly.

I hope we get him back at the dome the next series we face them. I dare him to work that slow in our yard, I bet he crumbles under the hostile atmosphere here, lol.

I don't know if we'll come out alive tbh lol.

Our offense looks lethargic, almost for the past series; so many LOB, not many key hits other than that one inning last night. (Like where the f*** did EE disappear? Just like last year, month over? magic over? I mean he has been chasing some terrible pitches of late.)

Our pitching getting shakier and we still have a month to truck before post season if we make it, though the bright spots are still something - Price, Stroman, Osuna.

SHRUGS. Yankees, despite losses, have kept every one of their matches close and always fought back. It'll be a tough series, and pretty daunting.

I'm not worried as long as our pitching keeps it close (at least there is no Hutch/Buehrle to worry about). It was the back end pen guys that allowed it to get blown open... I think hitting wise in many ways we were just unlucky in regards to GIDP's, those Green monster singles, etc. (although Tulo and Martin really needs to find their consistency very soon, those two I AM concerned about)

And the Yanks didn't look too hot themselves with their own issues (injuries, overworked pen, etc), so I'm still pretty optimistic with our chances to end this coming series with at least a split.

Better to get raped before going into Yankee stadium than in Yankee Stadium. Thank sweet baby Jesus we got an ace at the deadline and not a mid rotation guy with 2 to 3 of our SPs wobbling to the finish. Go Stro show! I feel confident we will be fine. Lots of character and talent on our Jays squad. Can't wait!
