Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 So true. he got it done. Still don't get why we use a guy with less than 6Ks/9 over the guy we got from the Ms to pitch the 8th. Makes no sense to me. It's a defined role, I read it a couple weeks ago in the Sun, talking like they're the next Ward/Henke duo, lol. I'm not even joking...lol.
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 thats why Still would have went with Lowe. Like his skill set better in that high leverage situation against that part of the order.
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2015 Author Posted September 5, 2015 It's baseball why does everything have to make sense? s*** happens!!!
Followthelight Verified Member Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Did the Rays blow it yet?

Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Longoria leaves with injured arm...sigh
Governator Community Moderator Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Didn't Gibby go to Lowe a couple games ago in a high leverage spot and he struck out the side. Could be wrong, but I do remember him pitching in an important part thinking he's going to get more opportunities afterward.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Bottom of the 7th...3-2 Rays.

Like his skill set better in that high leverage situation against that part of the order. I dunno a 4 run lead seems fairly comfortable. I really like Sanchez and his GB rate at RC especially facing RHB. I think Lowe would be a good choice for the 8th inning on the road. Or when you need a big K in a high leverage sit.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Cecil has been so good. Unsung arm down there. Has enough FB and that curve workin'
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Cecil here is the right call.

Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Used 4 different balls for his 4 pitches lol.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Cecil is just filthy. Yup...they just cant lay off that curve when he spots that FB....he has been great.
Governator Community Moderator Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 That wolverine beard is pretty gross.
