How was the situation with drunkards? You'd think the expensive seats would make people calm themselves for the game.

I was also very surprised we didn't see a single wave in game 1.

My wife said the same thing, surprised no wave. I hate the thing, but it seems more for a relaxed situation. It was too tense every pitch meant something, and i think the crowd was stressed. As for the drunks, wow, just wow. You could see the numbers grow each game down the stretch. They were well behaved in our section, but they were all loud talkers heh

The 6-4 run....absolute dead silence, not a word.

My girlfriend was also very impressed with the crowd, yeah there were some poor hecklers but they were all focused on the game. Such a better experience than the 20-odd regular season games I attended where I had to fight through selfies, the wave (f***ing hate the wave), people not respecting the unspoken rules of when you get up to leave your seats, etc.

Felt like everyone knew they were lucky to be in attendance.

Yeah I sat beside an small old lady who obviously attended her first ever baseball game. She had no clue what was happening but was also pissed that everyone kept standing everytime we came to bat. Even after Bautista's HR in game 1 people stood for E5.

I think thats the biggest difference to the regular season. Every single pitch is stressful.

The standing conundrum.... I've seen at least a couple people get cussed out for standing and watching now. I personally see no issue with it, playoff baseball and all but it would suck for an old lady whose legs don't function like the spry young bucks she had around her...

Oh yeah the selfies lol they were insane during regular season...but you nailed, still too many people getting up mid at bat early in innings, pissing me off beyond anything. Why are you here? If its to piss i get it, but every other inning?

when you say that you sold your tickets for "$196 american each," you're saying that's what you listed them for, right? stubhub deducts a 10% fee from the seller, don't they?

Correct. I ended up getting around $175 american which translates to $230 canadian for each ticket. $80 dollar face value, so not a bad profit.

FYI for those of you who want to buy tickets on stubhub close to gametime and need to print, there is a UPS store west of front and blue jays way

good thing I didn't listen to you, I priced down to $199 and it didn't sell overnight :P

Repriced down to $180.

Wow, that's weird. My seats in 243 sold for $185 around 9:00 last night, so I thought you'd be good.

Can't make the game now. f***ing God Damn work. Not a single god damn thing has gone right today. f***ing ********.

Was kinda hoping prices would come down a bit more but they haven't, guess I'll watch this one in the office... still a ton of tickets left with about 2 hours to go.

I sold my single ticket in 15min for $135 USD (I get $121.50). Face value was $50. Have fun whoever got my seat. 'tear drop

Oh god. You could have got 10 times that and it wouldnt have made you feel any better after missing THAT ONE.

I was there with my 5 year old daughter. Unbelievable experience for us both, we'll never forget it. Still in shock.
