As predicted, ticket prices continue to fall on stubhub. Cheapest is 154 USD as of right now (~200 CAF) with weeks to go.

Exactly in the range Raptors tickets sold for. Nobody is buying at those retarded prices for upper bowls. Sorry.

What you're also failing to realize is that even if the Raptors won their first round they really had next to 0% chance of winning.

What you also fail to realize is that the ALDS is equivalent to the 2nd round of the NBA playoffs.

I was able to get more tickets today too. I got round 1 strip section 128R row 21 and round 2 strip in the same section row 31. Might actually sit in those over my 113A's, but we'll see. Still trying to nab some word series 500's before 5pm

A friend of mine just sold his 500 Level tickets for 270/ea for game 2. So people are buying them. Sorry.

Lol yes because two retards overpaying at an outrageous price clearly is a sign the entire market is willing to do the same.

Honestly now is probably the best time to buy. As soon as they sell out for gen public prices will skyrocket because I bet you half the people aren't even thinking of playoffs.

I have 2 tickets to Wed the 23 vs Yankees.

Section 130CR row 15 seats 9-10.

Let me know if interested.

Let me know if you get extra interest. My parents have my tickets that night, 527R row 5, seats 7&8, but my Mom hates going to the games now that the crowds are so big so I imagine I'll be selling.

They are though, you can look at the list of actual sales and today alone for game 1 of the ALDS 22 tickets in the 500 level have sold in the $150-$250 range (that's before SH fees, so the buyer paid more like something in the 175-300 range). For game 1 of the WS 20 tickets have sold in the 500s over the past 3 days in the $300-$650 range (so 350-750ish after fees). And those are in USD, so people are paying over $200 for the ALDS and 450 for the WS at this stage. And often times these sales are actually ticket brokers buying seats at what they feel are "cheap" seats that they will profit from later on down the road. You might not pay that much, but there are plenty of people who will.

What knowledge do you have that any "new poster" is a casual fan. If someone doesn't post on the ONE message board that is frequented by jays fans, then they are simply a bandwagon jumper? That's a laughable statement in and of itself.

I haven't seen any of these new posters participate in any serious baseball discussion in the other threads other than coming on here and fapping over how much their playoff tickets are worth! I'm sure there are some who have followed the game for years and know stuff, though I bet majority of the fans who have just created accounts or go to Jays games now just started becoming fans after the trade deadline.

Simply put, the jays have sucked for a long, long, long time. I think it is pretty clear that the hype around the team is currently justified and people who may follow the jays are now making more of an effort to travel to Toronto, buy 15 dollar beers and watch the game.

And when the Jays start to lose again or play .500 baseball, those fans are nowhere to be seen. As well, I'm sure those fans never heard of Josh Donaldson and how good he was before this season.

I would guess most people on here can't technically afford an entire postseason strip, so hoping to go to a few games, while selling other tickets to break even is supply and demand at it's finest. The beauty of living in a free market society!

Never said anything bad about living in a free market society. Though when posters on here are expecting ridiculous prices for 500 level seats and fapping on and on about it, I'll pass.

When you head to the dome if the jays make the playoffs be sure to wear your shirt that has big bold letters on the back that says "biggest jays fan".... Just so people don't get confused into thinking they are on your level.

Should have come and met me at a game back in 2012 or 2013...oh I forgot you probably never even liked baseball back then!

154 US for the CHEAPEST seat.

Nowhere near the $120 CDN you hoping for.

And as soon as they go sold out, the demand will go back up. Is it a good time to tell you that I got another pair of seats to the ALDS and ALCS? They keep releasing more to season ticket and flex pack holders. They certainly don't seem to be holding them for the general public. I now have 4 pairs of tickets to the first 2 rounds and 3 pairs of tickets to the WS. Sorry but none will be sold for anywhere near your $120 I can promise you that, and I definitely won't be left holding any of them.

I think in the end we're going to see who the real "retard" is here. I hope you have a comfy couch ECJF.

Thats all it takes though isn't it? I never said you won't be able to find cheaper. You said "nobody is buying tickets at those prices" ..well somebody just did. And it if it happened before the games even have a set date and time then it can easily happen again.

Once again, I'm not trying to say you aren't going to find cheaper than whats posted on here, you definitely will. But you coming in here shaking your head at people's ticket prices saying nobody will buy at that price is laughably misguided.

Hey guys, your argument over playoff ticket prices is pretty retarded, in general, from both sides.

Not sure why so many people in here are getting so butthurt. Anyone with a decent network in downtown Toronto can find available tickets at far less than what is being asked for on Stubhub. It's all about being diligent.

It seems like you don't understand what were saying on the other side. I absolutely agree with you. I think you'll be able to find tickets at a decent price. However, that doesn't mean people selling their tickets shouldn't try and maximize their profits, and just because YOU can find them cheaper doesn't mean others will

This is thread is hilarious because all of sudden you have new posters flocking on here who people have never heard of before wanking each other off on how their playoff tickets are worth so much and in such high demand. I've got tickets to 1-2 games per series through the person I bought my flex pack through at Rogers and you don't see me coming on here making a big deal how much these seats are going for on StubHub. Its getting quite annoying especially since these are coming from new posters who likely haven't even followed the Blue Jays until this past August.

You also have to be okay with the fact that you might not end up with tickets. That's just how bargaining works though. You gotta wait it out and hope the price comes down, but sometimes you end up with nothing for waiting to long.

Either way, i'm sure there will posters on this board selling tickets for 1.5x or 2x face value.

How bout from now on people just post the tickets they are selling and for how much because that is what the point of this thread is for. How much tickets are going for on Stubhub shouldn't be relevant for this thread.

So I'll assume you have your cheap tickets already then? Since its so easy?

As for people getting butt hurt, I'm the exact opposite. I stand to make thousands of dollars if the Jays go deep in the playoffs. You are the one who seems bothered by the high prices.

I agree. I hope all of you find cheap tickets for the playoffs. True fans are the ones who deserve them. Meanwhile, i hope to take advantage of the band wagoners willing to spend to fit in ;)

I hope you aren't grouping me in here. Everyone locally knows me as the most hardcore fan around. I've been patiently waiting 23 years for this.

I kind of disagree with your point about new posters bragging about what their tickets are worth. Its actually the other way around - there have been a few posters on here who are bemoaning the prices and bragging about how they know are going to come way down and are too high. Those of us with seats hoping to make some profit are just sticking up for ourselves. I can see how the whole thing is getting annoying though.

Want to know my price? For me to commit to parting with them right now, it would take triple face value for my 500 tickets. Thats only $150 a ticket for the ALDS. I'm pretty confident I'll get at least that on stubhub from someone. Like I said I sold tickets for this Sunday at triple face for a regular season game.

I personally don't give a s*** what you sell your tickets for and I don't think anyone else does either.

Thats really funny, because last week you PM'd me asking me what I would sell my tickets for. Exhibit A & B from your PM's to me:

Where are your seats located?

Okay I would be up for buying those. How much did you want for ALDS?

Why the heck wouldn't I reply? He's called me out after pulling a 180. Read the post again. If you can't see that then I'm sorry I can't help you.

What purpose are you serving by taking me to task?

I'll ask again: what did I do to make you angry?

I don't want to drag this on, but if you are going to call me out I at least want to know why.

If ECJF wants a ticket for wayyyyyyy less than the ludicrous secondary market (I say ludicrous as I can't believe people are paying more than retail for games that don't yet exist) he just needs to call me. I've already sold a pair to someone from the board for near cost.
