pickoff22 Verified Member Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 I've seen a few questions about how much tickets will be for the postseason, here's a breakdown: http://toronto.bluejays.mlb.com/tor/ticketing/postseason_seating_map_and_prices.jsp Interestingly the entire lower level of the 100 is the same price, and there are two pricing zones for the 500 level. Lower bowl world series tickets will be $420 a pop.
Mac Outlaw Verified Member Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 When's the last time anyone looked at a seating plan like that? 1993? It's about f***ing time!!

Or will I have a good chance to buy them at these prices even if I don't have flex pack or season tickets
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 BTW, they put all post season tickets on sale right? All division series + world series? So once the playoffs start, you can buy World Series tix and get refunded when we don't make it?

So once the playoffs start, you can buy World Series tix and get refunded when we don't make it? No refunds, they apply the money towards your next season's flex pack. (Kidding... I think)
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 So when will these be available? I assume they will sell out really quickly and chumps like myself will be forced to stubhub? Or will I have a good chance to buy them at these prices even if I don't have flex pack or season tickets Priority goes like this: Season ticket holders, flex pack holders (from high to low), general admission And there are limits for season/flex holders, so there will most definitely be tickets available for the general public. But you need to be quick.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 Do I have to purchase a full set of Postseason tickets? Yes. Postseason tickets will be sold as a full Postseason Strip only (Wild Card game, American League Division Series, American League Championship Series, and World Series). You cannot purchase tickets to individual games or individual series. Does this go for everyone? This is BS.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 Priority goes like this: Season ticket holders, flex pack holders (from high to low), general admission Lol... zero chance of any tickets making it to GA.

Flex Packs should be right after that. I imagine that face value for the limited number of regular tickets through ticketmaster will be slightly higher. But yes there will be a small number of tickets available for non-ticket pack/seasons holders

Any unplayed games gets you a credit towards next years season tickets or a refund to your credit card.
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 Does this go for everyone? This is BS. Kinda makes you wonder why they even list single game prices.
pickoff22 Verified Member Posted August 25, 2015 Author Posted August 25, 2015 Does this go for everyone? This is BS. Any tickets you don't want to personally use you can easily sell for more. However I can appreciate that it's a decent chunk of change to pay out at the start.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 Lol... zero chance of any tickets making it to GA. If that were the case, that would mean the Jays have all 46K or so seats sold to season ticket holders and flex pack holders. I doubt that's the case.

Mac Outlaw Verified Member Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 Last year. How many tickets did they sell? This one this year actually has some meaning.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 Burlingtonbandit, want to split post season strips again? ;x
pickoff22 Verified Member Posted August 25, 2015 Author Posted August 25, 2015 FYI right now you'll need to put down a $500 deposit for your tickets. Not sure when the rest is charged to your card, but it's done in installments (of course you can pay all right away). But you could put down $500 and theoretically have secured sales through stubhub on certain games before the next payment became due. You won't get paid by stubhub until you upload the tickets, but you'll know you've got money coming back.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 not much of a burden as long as you know how to use stubhub and haven't been riding your credit card too hard. ftfy

TBJ12 Verified Member Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 I'll likely head to TO if the Jays make the WS, but I won't be paying those ticket prices. Hopefully they open up maple leaf square like they did with the Raptors.
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 This is so premature. We aren't even in Sept yet. Anything can happen.

S33n Verified Member Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 Looks like I'm going to have to purchase 2 100 level outfield strips and take on a part time job as a scalper, I don't feel comfortable waiting for the general public sales.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 My credit card is maxed on tuition or I'd be buying for profit. If anyone wants to use my flex pack privileges (using your card) I will happily do so for you. PM me.

Same for me man. Should be easy to make the money back though. I'm personally planning to go to maybe a couple games and sell the rest.
Jonzo Verified Member Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 I can't afford all three series, but I'll choose one... Probably the alds, how about you guys?
pickoff22 Verified Member Posted August 26, 2015 Author Posted August 26, 2015 I just purchased my tickets. For those wondering, the payment plan is (assuming it's the same for flex pack holders as STH) Payment today = $500 Then payments on September 28th, October 12th and October 24th
