Reyes shouldn't have lead off either. It's about having your best hitters up top and Revere is probably the 7th best hitter on the jays so why would you have him anywhere near the top?

 

It's about arranging your hitters in an order that makes them the most valuable. Why do you think Trout hits 3rd?
