Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 I'd wear that for sure. I love his suits.
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 I love Zaunie's Sunday Roasts when he lays into umpires, he doesn't hold anything back.

Never in my life i would think i'd see a 12-2 pitcher be sent down without any injury relation, embarrassing and disrespectful as i bet Alex sent him an email informing him. BTW Alex, i'm in section 134 every home game if you feel the need to find me."
Nafro Verified Member Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 Cites Marcus' height as the reason why. I'm relatively certain he will never make disparaging remarks against ANYONE'S height.

Over my head Gregg Zaun @GreggZaun 8m8 minutes ago Can't get Hutch back here inside of 10 days without someone going gone the DL. Puzzling moves indeed Gregg Zaun @GreggZaun 6m6 minutes ago I would skip Hutch on the 23rd of this month and pitch a HEALTHY Mark Buehrle. I'd skip him of 9-19 as well, but sending him out??? Gregg Zaun @GreggZaun 4m4 minutes ago Sending Loup out freed up a roster spot. Add a position player. Just worried to lose him if someone like Buehrle just needs a blow. Gregg Zaun @GreggZaun 2m2 minutes ago If Beurhle is fine then maybe I see the validity of the move but I hadn't been informed there was no longer concern

BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 Whatever he says has to make more sense than Kevin Barker...
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2015 Author Posted August 18, 2015 Whatever he says has to make more sense than Kevin Barker... I HATE listening to Barker. At least Zaun was a good player and a WS champion, Barker was a journeyman nobody... I don't want to hear his opinion on anything.

For whatever reasons their commentary seems measured and thoughtful. Not a bunch of hollow platitudes and empty derp to fill air time.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 What does being a good player have to do with anything? How good of a player you were has ZERO to do with what kind of an analyst you are. Barker is bad at both...but him being a fringe ballplayer isn't the reason why I don't want him to open his mouth. That's a fair point. I think Joe Madden only made it to A ball but he seems to know the game ok.

There's a strong correlation between how good of a player you were and how much ignorance I can tolerate from you as an analyst. I call this the Reynolds Curve.
