Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Dude, I honestly think that his two and 4 seam fastballs are enough. A change would be great, but he has a very good curve. He just needs a consistent release point and he can be amongst the best in the league. But it's a tall order considering his BB/9 rate throughout his career at every level thus far. His sinker with that velocity is amongst the best I've ever seen, almost as good comparatively to Blyleven's curveball being a beast amongst curves in the games history. he's got enough to be a starter but not enough to be an ace.... an effective change and better command and he will be
93 Jays Verified Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 I missed most of the series was travelling. Why did Gibbons get ejected? Are the umps favoring new York like everytime we play? Great series so far beating the umps and yanks. For walking out of the dugout to ask the ump why he wasn't asking for appeals on check swings at third. Thing is Gibby didn't get a single word out and got tossed. f***ign embarrassing for these umpires and their bias against the Jays
Zacman Verified Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 There are graphs for that Can you point me in the direction of those? Thanks

BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Hate to burst your bubble..but it is going to take a whole lot more than 30 million to land Price. Yes but it's still more than Rogers will pay, plus the "We The Fans" movement will create enough Buzz and Hype they might be shamed into opening the vaults! Plus tell me price will not be impressed by the Fans as will the Jays!
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Nice game. High end dinner and call girls tonight for the boys.
93 Jays Verified Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 he's got enough to be a starter but not enough to be an ace.... an effective change and better command and he will be I disagree. I know you like him as well. But with command, he is definitely ace material. I think once he learns it will be fun to see the competitiveness between him and Stroman. I love Marcus and I know a lot of peeps here do as well so please don't give me a beat down for saying this, but with equal command, I think Sanchez has better stuff. Their curveballs are both very good, but I like Aaron sinker more than I do Marcus's cutter. He has slightly better movement and better velocity. Not saying Aaron is anywhere near Stro's level right now, I'm just hoping the friendship and competitiveness between them means that Marcus helps Aaron with his mechanics a bit
JaysAllMighty Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 f*** the Yankees and f*** the ump
93 Jays Verified Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Wow that's nuts. Why does mlb keep allowing this? The same reason they allowed Sanchez to be suspended for three games after our guys were thrown at repeatedly, at their heads nonetheless. Our guy hits one of theirs in the leg? Three games justified!
