o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 best not to say anything to this ump. idiot threw out a pitcher for holding his hands out after a blown call he made just a week ago. he's bad and has an ego
ColdPint Verified Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Wow. Related/unrelated but what do you think it will take to see umpire reform in the game? They affect a game way more than they ever should and I have to believe that every team would welcome change.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 25 years of the same s***. Go into yankee stadium, and the umps steal strike after strike for the pin stripes. Its like trying to beat the Yankees and the UMps Jays Vs. Yankees + Umps./
Torontojim Verified Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 the ump better expand the zone for Dickey too this completely ruins baseball these blind aging overweight umpires.
bronson44 Verified Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Really pisses me off when a guy shows great discipline and gets punished for it by a f***ing blind umpire
93 Jays Verified Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 I just meant I look at the game more like an old timer scout does. I'm not sure what he's getting wound up about. I understand all the sabmetrics basically, but I'm not good at analyzing them as far as it pertains to a players performance. I was actually criticizing my own perspective to be honest. I'm admittedly ignorant about a lot of things as far as how the game is analyzed nowadays.
everzz Verified Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 If Joe west was umping this game... i would be slitting my wrists...
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Norris gave up a massive bomb lol
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 If Joe west was umping this game... i would be slitting my wrists... Easy
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted August 8, 2015 Posted August 8, 2015 Maybe Dickey has worked through his issues :-)
