Related/unrelated but what do you think it will take to see umpire reform in the game? They affect a game way more than they ever should and I have to believe that every team would welcome change.

I just meant I look at the game more like an old timer scout does. I'm not sure what he's getting wound up about. I understand all the sabmetrics basically, but I'm not good at analyzing them as far as it pertains to a players performance. I was actually criticizing my own perspective to be honest. I'm admittedly ignorant about a lot of things as far as how the game is analyzed nowadays.
