just got back from the game. Pretty impressive for 34K on a THursday night against the Twins.

 

The crowd was so electric that in the 5th inning there was a long wave after the inning ended. That doesn't happen.

this is why Tulo leadoff works. Other than beginning of the game, every other time he's coming up after Revere (and Travis when he gets back), so he's often coming up in RBI situations since our bottom three can get on base.

 

It doesn't work in the NL because you have the pitcher batting 9th. Also he hasn't had Donaldson-Bautista-Edwin protecting him ever in his career.

You want him to butcher plays against Yankees with the division on the line. A play not made could be the difference between WC and Division title. Now is not the time for experimentation
