Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Because I believe the game should be played between two teams of 25 players, and shouldn't be influenced by the whims of several groups of four mostly-fat, mostly-white mostly-old men. Essentially, I don't think the Republican demographic should get to influence baseball (any more than they do because they're the owners...)

Rajais Mitten Verified Member Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 yanks-sox going into the bottom of the 9th red sox had bases loaded 2 outs and did nothing
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Revere has actually hit some pretty deep flys this last week.
baloojayz Verified Member Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Hutch basically turned into Dickey. Gets through five then hits a wall.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Damn, good contact there from Revere...
Torontojim Verified Member Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Loup not coming in? Is Gibbons love affair with Loup on the rocs?
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 When did it not the 8 at bats he didn't get a hit? He's been hitting the ball hard, if he finds gaps, those are a couple triples.
Governator Community Moderator Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Yes, because umpires are terrible. The ball was low and outside. This is an argument for replacing umpires, not an argument for Smoak being bad. The low outside corner is called far more often to lefties than righties, it's practically an auto strike and why they hardly ever argue it. It's like they've just had to come to accept it that umps are blind to their left.

burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Mark Lowe fly ball pitcher on a night the ball is flying will see how this goes. Also gets a low of strikeouts which is good.
nextyear Verified Member Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 It would be good to see more line drives from Revere.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 One out in the bottom of the ninth in NY, nobody on.
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Damn, good contact there from Revere... He's made a lot of good contact. Have to think he'll eventually find some holes.

I realize the reality, I just don't think we should accept it as fact when we have the technology to replace human deficiencies. We don't still build cars by hand, we don't limit doctors to what they can see with their own eyes, why the s*** are we sullying the great game of baseball by letting PEOPLE decide the strike zone.
NJay Verified Member Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Friggin yanks singled. One on one out.
fatcowxlive Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Nice frame job! Lots of movement
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Loup purely a LOOGY now? f***ing hope so
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 That slider must be hard to pickup they swinging at s*** and letting good ones go its got some really nice late break.
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Bautista's routes are s***, but he doesn't let anything drop when he gets there.

I don't disagree though I don't see that happening at this level, at least not any time soon. I was just pointing out that it's pretty well known lefties have to be able to get to that outer corner because they get f***ed every game from it.
