When's the Boston series? The Braves stink.. at least the Red Sox will be a challenge to the Yankees. I mean, the Sox have been much better this month, especially since Rusney Castillo and JBJ starting playing regularly, and Owens and Kelly returned to the rotation..

For now at least.. how they do vs. AL East teams is another question. The Yanks face nothing but AL East teams, and the Mets, with a late series vs. the White Sox. Yanks also need to start hitting better.. they can get away with tonight's weak offensive performance vs. Atlanta, but do this vs. the AL East and they'll get burned.

It will be good to face Clevelands pitching to see what we can do against legit pitchers, not these rookie jokes teams have been throwing at us.

 

Salazar/Anderson/Bauer as it stands. Amazingly, Cleveland is still hanging around the fringes of contention.. but they need help from anybody facing the Rangers if they want a shot to move up in the race (5.0 GB). They could surpass the Rays and O's if they sweep the Angels..
