BlueBirdBro Verified Member Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 Reading articles while watching the Yanks game and came across this beauty from Bautista about the trade acquisitions: “It’s almost like being at war, and running low on ammo,’’ Bautista said, “and the next thing you know, here comes a little parachute with a crate. And it lands right next to you. “And it’s full of ammo. “You’re like, ‘Yeah, baby.’’’
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 Shreve at almost 30 pitches. Hopefully he's done soon, Twins don't hit LHP well.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 This game is going to be hard on the Yankees. As of right now, Cotham and Shreve will be out for tomorrow, and Mitchell might end up on the DL.. two arms will likely be up from Scranton tomorrow, likely two of Nick Goody, Nick Rumbelow, Branden Pinder, or they may have to purchase a long-man (likely Jose DePaula or Kyle Davies).
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2015 Author Posted August 18, 2015 Yanks certainly have the edge in the pen. Don't feel good about this one. Twins will need to score a few more.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 Ugh looks like a 4 game sweep of the As by the Orioles. Enough to make you sick
Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 A's are awful. Defensive errors like crazy.

Goody's already up. What's your fantasy with everyone's pen man?

Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 That stupid whistle after every Yankee K drives me insane.

Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2015 Author Posted August 18, 2015 Need the Mets to win the two gamer against the O's while we, fingers crossed, take the two from Philly.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 A's are awful. Defensive errors like crazy. And Angels fans aren't liking it.. this is going to set them further back in the wild card. Luckily, the Astros are losing to Tampa.

And the Yanks can't afford this to be tied and go into extras.. then they would be forced to use Sabathia or another starter in emergency relief, as the pen is already short. They've got Warren, Betances and Miller left. And BTW, the Twins are getting good ABs off the Yanks relievers..
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 May's been moved back to the pen, lol. They're dumn.

jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 Seriously, F*** the O's. THey swept the A's and now are a full game up on LA.
Belliss101 Old-Timey Member Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 *sighs* back to ignore, just took you off man. Spank, I never knew anyone could be too positive for you! HAHA
