Exactly. Theses suspensions are more symbolic than anything else. Sanchez can file an appeal then pitch 2 innings in a game and then immediately drop the appeal and take the rest. It's really quite easy to work around something like this.

If there truly is nothing to be announced, and they walk away unscathed, I think outrage at the suspension is warranted.

I guess what bothers me about it is that I legitimately don't think Sanchez beaned Escobar intentionally, based on the situation and count. I wish he had (preferably Hosmer or Cain), but I don't think he did.

It's just BS that we had nothing to do with this crap until it got out of hand b/c of that POS ump and yet have guys suspended, while KC walks off without a scratch.
