I'm not a huge Revere fan but if you can slot him into the bottom 3rd of the order, hitting in front of someone like Pillar or Goins he's someone that scores on a single. He should not be our lead off hitter.

 

I do like the idea of seeing a line up of Travis, Donaldson, Bautista, Tulo, EE, Smoak, Martin, Revere, Pillar though.

Clearly not his speed holding him back defensively though. If it is his reading of the ball then I don't know if it will make a huge difference (still maybe that will improve with more experience).
