4thOFan Verified Member Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Guys this will be a disaster for us. Taking on that massive contract for a declining player + giving up prospects when our real problem is pitching?
SAAviour Verified Member Posted July 28, 2015 Author Posted July 28, 2015 Yup, that's how I feel Andrew... @AndrewStoeten: HOLY WHAT THE f***??? https://t.co/SYkW45vFD5
Mikeleelop Verified Member Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Tulo contract is same value as Reyes but for three more years
baubau Verified Member Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Travis HAS to be going the other way I imagine, no?

raBBit Verified Member Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 How has this thread not blown up yet...
OBPlover Verified Member Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 I think this is part 1 of a 3 way trade.
DuckDuckGose Verified Member Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Travis HAS to be going the other way I imagine, no? They really need pitching. Stroman + Hoffman + is my guess
SAAviour Verified Member Posted July 28, 2015 Author Posted July 28, 2015 Please mods, merge threads! I can't keep up. I can't breath. Wtf!!! Wtf
ace3113 Verified Member Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Holy s***! Can't wait to see him pitch outside of Coors. Oh wait.
SAAviour Verified Member Posted July 28, 2015 Author Posted July 28, 2015 I think this is part 1 of a 3 way trade. I agree. And I bet we don't know til tomorrow.
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Tulo contract is same value as Reyes but for three more years Except Tulo might be three times as good
Terminator Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Travis HAS to be going the other way I imagine, no? You would think he or Reyes would be involved. If it's Travis then perhaps Reyes moves to 2B? But the Rockies have LeMahieu, not sure that front office views Travis as an upgrade.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 This has potentiol to be very very horrible.
comeon sense Verified Member Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Rosenthal says he imagines Reyes is in the deal but has not said for sure. Cant imagine what they are gonna do next.
Swervin81 Verified Member Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 I called this on another forum I post on LOL, I didn't actually expect it to happen!
BTS Community Moderator Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 So Tulo is owed $94 million for the next five years with a $15M team option and $4M buyout in 2021. Reyes is owed $44 million for the next 2 years with a $22M team option and $4M buyout in 2018. If those two are included, I imagine multiple top prospects were also sent to Colorado.
LTR Verified Member Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 I don't get this. Nobody would want Reyes. And we need pitching not offense.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 Holy s***!!!! this made my f***ing night!!!!!
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 If aa turns reyes into tolu
DuckDuckGose Verified Member Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 This has potentiol to be very very horrible. Got to be less than the JD trade.. Can't be that bad!
King Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 This has potentiol to be very very horrible. Reyes + for a tulo
glory Old-Timey Member Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 I doubt Travis is included. Reyes has to be going the other way. Can't have two SS's on the same team. Who else the Jays add is the question. I guess if you can't add wins via pitching, get more offense/defense is AA's logic.
