BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 I don't know but me doth think the ban hammer shalt fall on thee royal pedigree shortly. f*** the Hammer, off with his Head !
Candy Maldonado Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 I would like to see evidence of these 5 members who confirmed via PM.
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 I come from the blood line of a Viking King. Can I be treated like royalty? yes. You may. I once f***ed the Okanagan Peach Festival Queen from 1976....in 1996(many many years after) in a drunken stupor. Pretty sure that makes me King.
SexyNewForum Verified Member Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 Let's get back to baseball versus accusing me of taking advantage of women or questioning my Royal Heritage and whether I own a bar called "Crown and Firkin". Ironic I would chose this name. People respect me for what I do for the community, and bringing Paul Quantrill is just one example. Many people consider my Royalty merely a false exaggeration of my greatness, however it is true. Please stop attacking me, or I will unleash a considerable amount of bubonic plague on those that do not like me. From now on, this is all about baseball for me and while my Jays events will go on, I will not discuss it further wtf is going on
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 predictions on score tonight? 14-11 Jays
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 I'd really appreciate if people can stop with the personal attacks and ridicule no matter how easy you see the target as. play nice if you want to stay in the sand box.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 zaun thinks Edwin will be traded. No!!! Why not? Smart way to obtain pitching without gutting the farm. I'm all for it.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 zaun thinks Edwin will be traded. No!!! I think him or Bautista being traded would not be a terrible thing depending on the return

I think him or Bautista being traded would not be a terrible thing depending on the return Losing Edwin would sting very hard, but if AA thinks his asking price on an extension will be too high and that he on the down it makes some sense for pitching. Bautista provides too much value to move now, and we are not deep in the OF as it is.
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 I think him or Bautista being traded would not be a terrible thing depending on the return Bautista has to stay, he's still a feared bat in the middle of the order. Pitchers are now starting to not fear EE as much, as you can see by the way Bautista is being pitched.

glory Old-Timey Member Posted July 7, 2015 Posted July 7, 2015 I think you can make an argument that trading Edwin now would be selling high, depending on how you think he will do in 2016 and beyond, but the return would have to be great to make it worthwhile.

gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 would you trade Bautista for Harper Go to bed..
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 zaun thinks Edwin will be traded. No!!! Yup EE and Reyes plus money for Walker and Carson smith plus a short stop pick one! Throw in navarro too, if they want!
vdubmvp Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 So, whose body is the topic of discussion tonight?
BigCecil Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 I don't think Ed has a lot of value. he's hasn't been that good this year .787 OPS but he has been hurt - back, shoulder, hamstrings. A huge threat @10mm per for 1.5 years has to have some pretty decent value if you are looking for offense from 1B/DH?
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 I don't think Ed has a lot of value. he's hasn't been that good this year You would be surprised. He may not look that valuable in our line up, but his projected 34 HR /100 RBI / .800 OPS may look mighty tempting in the middle of another line up. He'd look pretty good hitting fifth for the Royals.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 .787 OPS but he has been hurt - back, shoulder, hamstrings. A huge threat @10mm per for 1.5 years has to have some pretty decent value if you are looking for offense from 1B/DH? Yeah but as we saw with Lind, there's isn't a huge market for defensively limited 1B/DH types.
vdubmvp Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 Pretty surprised to see Martin rightfully getting the start again. I think this might be four games in a row now...
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2015 Author Posted July 8, 2015 Yeah but as we saw with Lind, there's isn't a huge market for defensively limited 1B/DH types. While true, Eddy doesn't have massive platoon splits like Lind and can/should be played against any pitcher.
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 The Hoff is on the mound tonight 3ip, 2H, 0BB, 4SO that's good right!
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 Yeah but as we saw with Lind, there's isn't a huge market for defensively limited 1B/DH types. LOL.. Please do not compare Lind's bat with EE's. EE is an actual threat.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2015 Author Posted July 8, 2015 But he's so bad at baseball!! How is he doing this??
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted July 8, 2015 Author Posted July 8, 2015 Reyes is doing good things out there.
