RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 What was that second pitch Was that a changeup?
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 That was a sick changeup. 78 Mph
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Man Boyd isn't fooling Fielder at all. He cant leave pitches up like that, Big League hitters are going to tear him apart.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Who knows if he's ready. He's pitched more innings at AA than Hutch when he came up and pretty much the same amount as stroman. True. Yet he's neither of those guys with completely different stuff and was older at AA than either hutch or stroman was.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Passed ball.... Attaboy fatty, no effort at all
Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Man Boyd isn't fooling Fielder at all. He cant leave pitches up like that, Big League hitters are going to tear him apart. K.......Robert!
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Having 3 what looks to be good offspeed pitches makes Boyds fastball that much better
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 I see a bit of deception on his fastball to rhb, with his arm dragging a bit the rhb can't pick it up as soon as they would on other lefties. Might be helping it play up a bit
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Passed ball.... Attaboy fatty, no effort at all Going to be the first player to catch while sitting down
S33n Verified Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Shes a solid 7. Better than anything you've ever touched.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Wow ump, the catcher pulled that ball 8 inches and u give it to him?
Inklink Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Reyes hacking at the first pitch. Pop up. Terrific. Way to help him out, 6 pitch inning.
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Gonna be a long game it looks like.
S33n Verified Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 That's actually not true lol. 7 is good dude. Thats above average. Strippers don't count.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 No he's not throwing a lot of strikes early, the ump is blind as f***.
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Reyes hacking at the first pitch. Pop up. Terrific. Way to help him out, 6 pitch inning. Hard to blame him when the ump f***ed him in his last AB
JFD Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 well that was a brain fart of an inning
Jimcanuck Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 I've never been to a strip club so I wouldn't know. Whats wrong with you
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 True. Yet he's neither of those guys with completely different stuff and was older at AA than either hutch or stroman was. I'm not saying he's either of those guys. Just saying there's no way to know if he's ready to be a major league starter just on the fact that he hasn't pitched a lot of innings in AAA. It's not like he has control problems like sanchez. Obviously he doesn't have the upside that Stroman or Hutch had. Edit: ok maybe he's not ready rofl
John_Havok Old-Timey Member Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 Wow, this ump is on the Rangers payroll for sure today
