In all seriousness, I'm very superstitious when it comes to sports for some reason. Like, if we're up by 5 when I tune in and immediately upon tuning in the opposition starts to score, it's very hard for me to resist the urge to "stop jinxing the team" by changing the channel or something. It's worst with basketball because of the constant scoring, some nights every time I tune in the opposition goes on a run, and whenever I tune away for a few minutes and come back, I see the Raptors made a run, but that reverses the second I start watching again, which freaks me out and convinces me that I'm the jinx. OCD is one hell of a drug. I suspect a lot of us are like that though, and with all sports we watch and have a rooting interest.
