LTR Verified Member Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 Let chubby play every 5th day like a good back up catcher should do. Smoak deserves to be in the lineup. I'd rather have chubby every 5 days then noodle bat Thole. This
glory Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 The Jays are 10-3 when Navarro starts. Not only a professional hitter but a winner as well. Can't argue with that. Sorry, Justin. No playing time for your losery ass.

Well, if you want to optimize the lineup, then Martin should be catching everyone except Dickey, so get rid of Navarro somehow (released, DFA, trade, whatever), and then use Thole to catch Dickey. At least Gibbons won't DH Thole.
LTR Verified Member Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 I hate Navarro starts, even more so because it's going to take him a while to get his timing back. But Smoak should absolutely be in over Navarro vs. righties, holy f***.
burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 Guessing Gibby saw Navarro's two hard hit balls to CF and thinks he's going to get hot.
glory Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 Guessing Gibby saw Navarro's two hard hit balls to CF and thinks he's going to get hot. Don't forget his sac fly to bring in a runner from 3rd with less than 2 outs. Professional. / Pat Tabler
flafson Verified Member Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 How drunk are you right now? Look under extra right in the middle you will see Smoak a few rows down Oops, i guess the small bit of glare on his name made me miss it :/
theblujay Verified Member Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 Gibbons will prove you all wrong. Navarro 2-3 and Smoak with a PH XBH late in the game
closetjaysfan Verified Member Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 Hopefully Navarro is only in the lineup to improve his trade value
Deadpool Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 Hopefully Navarro is only in the lineup to improve his trade value Yeah, but what happens when he goes 0 for 4 with 2Ks?
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 Don't give a s*** who plays as long as we just keep on Winning winning winning!
baubau Verified Member Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 Guys guys guys. You miss why Navvy is really in the lineup. Gibby know that if Bautista is hit or is in a brawl he wants Navarro to be close as possible to block people from Bau. Imagine he'd be in the bench if it happened. Bautista would be exposed before Navarro fat ass could block anything. Smart move Gibbs.

Sorry, Justin. No playing time for your losery ass. If this is not sarcasm(I sure hope it is), you should be permabanned for massively stupidity/
glory Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 If this is not sarcasm(I sure hope it is), you should be permabanned for massively stupidity/ Lol, considering the amount of time I spend bashing Navarro (and Gibbons), clearly it was sarcasm.
RealAccountant Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 "Reason-Defying Tampa Bay Rays" -Mike Wilner For one he has captured how I feel.
ScientificReason Verified Member Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 "Reason-Defying Tampa Bay Rays" -Mike Wilner For one he has captured how I feel. They have great pitching...what is so reason defying?
ScientificReason Verified Member Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 Buerhle sounded like he can't wait to retire or get out of Toronto lol. Don't like Wilner but like how he called out the umps.
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 Wilner didn't mince words about Bucknor and Hernandez.
ScientificReason Verified Member Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 What did he say? Just said wish season was 2 weeks long, how tough it was leaving his kids, and explaining to them why he can't work closer to home. Can's blame really.
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 What did he say? Basically that he turned it into the CB Bucknor show, tried to ruin the game, and Bucknor and Hernandez are the two worst umpires in the majors.
ScientificReason Verified Member Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 Basically that he turned it into the CB Bucknor show, tried to ruin the game, and Bucknor and Hernandez are the two worst umpires in the majors. Why does baseball do nothing about those clowns? Is it the union? They need to have better standards for their umps.
Effit Old-Timey Member Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 Why does baseball do nothing about those clowns? Is it the union? They need to have better standards for their umps. It's pretty ridiculous when an ump's personal agenda takes over a game.
spats Verified Member Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 How cute was Jamie Campbell kid singing "Take Me Out To The Ball Game". I'm actually getting to like Campbell's work.....Gomer Barker, not so much...bring back Cliff Floyd.

Don't forget Country Joe West. Even worse, the MLB has regularly given all these guys (especially Wes) playoff duty, and in Hernandez's and West's cases, they umped World Series games (!!!). The MLB is a complete an utter joke when it comes to umping. These umps know they can get away with trying to make themselves center stage because there is zero accountability. It's by far the worst officiating in pro sports, and that includes the NBA.
ScientificReason Verified Member Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 I hate the Orioles and their incessant whining...let' sweep them.
Daniel Labude Jays Centre Contributor Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 Let's Go Blue Jays!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
