lol was that Michael Saunders pouring the Champagne over Barry's head?

At least he contributed somehow to the team.

I just realized the identity of the mystery player who is often in the Blue Jays dugout. It is Michael Saunders - http://www.gannett-cdn.com/-mm-/9d7ae42f97c0e995266c9f26a272ff2527f44ca6/c=277-0-4618-3264&r=x513&c=680x510/local/-/media/2015/05/10/USATODAY/USATODAY/635668653441386090-USP-MLB-Toronto-Blue-Jays-at-Tampa-Bay-Rays.jpg

Maybe I am reading this wrong, so correct me if I am. You are saying Revere > Pillar? What makes you say that.

revere has been a consistent 2-3 WAR player. pillar is having a great year but has a poor approach at the plate - i'm not sold that he'll be better than revere over the next few years

Lol basically you are saying Pompey is better than pillar

This is why Jays fans are the worst

Pillar has been the backbone of this team all year and fans can't wait to dump him for a prospect who in his only trial this year was s mistake making hound

yes, pompey has better tools at the plate, possibly on the basepaths, and is probably just slightly below Pillar in the field

Disagree. Shapiro is not a fan of splurging on pitching, and I would be shocked if he pushes for resigning Price. Heyward is a far better investment, both in security (unlikely to pull a Verlander) and value (defense is undervalued.)

i see Heyward going to the Mets, big market team loaded with pitching and lots of salary room (they are #21 of 30)

Martin's a recovering alcoholic, he won't be involved in that.

Didn't know that about him. Good for him. Still kind of surprised he wouldn't hang out.

Maybe instead of the goggles like Joey Bats we need to rig him up a full face shield.

If not how about Mark B or would he make a better Roving instructor ?

He will want to work for the ChiSox I'd think. Or retire completely and stay away from the game. Either seems more likely than working as a coach for Toronto.

So you're telling me that Pompey is a top 3 baserunner AND defender in the MLB. Sorry but no, Pompey looked like Revere/Carrera in center field at the start of the season

Not completly true. He honestly seems to be having a great time in TO the only reason i think he would turn a job down here is because his dogs.

Mets are cash strapped, the Wilpons are swindlers

Something wasn't right with Pompey at the beginning of the season. Late last season showed us what he is capable of

So you're telling me a 1 month sample size is more relevant than his entire MiLB career?

Nah, i'd say Heyward goes to the Dodgers, Giants, Yankees, or Seattle.

Sitting in the 200 outfields which I haven't done in a while, and I'm pretty sure there's more leg room here than in the 100 outfields. Now I'm kind of glad these are where my postseason tickets will be.

Absolute crowd mayhem for hoodies today trying to get in. Insanity and even once in section 100 gridlock. Some idiots butting in front of kids/parents waiting since 8am in hoodie line. Just low.

There will always be idiots everywhere. Just be thankful you're not them.

Last home game of last year was the winter hat giveaway and it was the same thing with people just strolling into line ahead of others. It's so ridiculous.

Might be my fav seat on afternoon games. You're in one of like 5 sections in the shade and great view of the field.

I dressed for the shade but I'm in the sun. Not too pleased at the moment.
