LTR Verified Member Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 CF Jacoby Ellsbury (L) LF Brett Gardner (L) DH Alex Rodriguez ® 1B Mark Teixeira (S) C Brian McCann (L) RF Carlos Beltran (S) 3B Chase Headley (S) SS Didi Gregorius (L) 2B Stephen Drew (L) Yanks putting their best line-up out tonight... I don't care what people say, 1-6 is pretty intimidating.
CrackerJack Verified Member Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 Jose and Edwin heating up.... don't matter what he got!! lol deluding myself.... I know. a jays win tonight takes pressure off of us and puts it squarely on them. I don't think this edition of the Yankees will feel "pressure" by the Blue Jays in early August. Teixeira didn't even know that they were playing the Jays this weekend until a reporter asked him about it yesterday. Most predicted the Yankees to finish 4th or 5th in the East this season ... so they still can be viewed as the "underdogs."

LTR Verified Member Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 Alas Gibby's line-up that will determines the fate of the franchise!
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 never heard of the home plate umpire..
LTR Verified Member Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 Gotta be honest... I'm shittin bricks!
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 Here is the Blue Jays lineup (source: ) http://www.seattletimes.com/sports/mariners/another-wild-loss-for-carson-smith-mariners/ Manager Lloyd McClendon, left, comes out of the dugout to ask first-base umpire Mike Muchlinski why he ejected McClendon in the ninth inning. Muchlinski objected to McClendon throwing up his arms at a nonstrike call. doesn't bode well for whining...
Governator Community Moderator Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 never heard of the home plate umpire.. He's name isn't Joe West, so he's pretty good I hear.
Governator Community Moderator Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 Gotta be honest... I'm shittin bricks! Great way to lose weight.
dineke Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 This is the most hyped series in my lifetime probably, which is pretty sad now that I think about it.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 Great way to lose weight. get rich if it's gold bricks
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 He's got a nasty power sinker. Gon be tough. Gibson has a nasty sinker and he didn't fare well. Hopefully much of the same.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 Whatever happens, don't get content if we start off 5-0. The Yankees are the 2nd most dangerous offensive team in the league and they have enough power at the top to put a comeback quickly.
Ehjays Verified Member Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 Gotta be honest... I'm shittin bricks! Why dont you finish up in the John and just join us later then.

Frenchsoup Verified Member Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 Eovaldi better have a good defense behind him tonight because he don't strike out many and the Jays don't strike out.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 We should do ok as long as we dont see LOUP Pretty stupid we didn't see him yesterday

HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 how many days left for Travis? how is he doing? any chance he comes back at the end of his 15 days? We haven't heard anything about him participating in drills/games yet. But I think he's down in Florida, considering he's tweeting during game time.
