I guess Goins is on SS tonight since Tulo is not expected to be in or ready yet.

 

I wonder if Kawa or someone from Buffalo gets called up for a day? Presumably, Hawkins won't be here any sooner than Tulo which would leave the roster a man short.

Surely there must be a team that would buy high on Colabello. Even if we get anything at all it's better than demoting him.

I imagine they will be here for game time just no chance to prep and everything i don't think we will see any call him. I am sure in a pinch Tulo could be used.

Hutch's peripherals are good even though the results have been poor.

Buehrle has been good.

Dickey has been effective over the last 2 months.

Estrada has been effective.

Doubrount has been pretty good.

 

I guess Doubrount is the likely candidate, regardless.

To be accurate he hit into what should have been a double play, which many other Blue Jays have done this year and almost every other player on every other team has done this year. Goins had nothing to do with the base running of Carrera (which was a real head shaker). The ball Goins hit that turned into a triple play in some situations might have been a double down the right field line if the 1st baseman wasn't holding the runner (Pillar) on base.

 

Blame Goins for not getting the bunt down, but if you blame him for making contact and hitting it fair down the right line then to be fair you have to call out many Blue Jays for many plays this year.

 

He also hit a weak grounder to the pitcher on his 3rd at bat.

 

Goins isn't an all-star but I bet there are many fans who would like to be as "useless" as Ryan Goins at baseball.
