Jays were tied to Miller a bit before the draft, he'd be a very nice pick here. Chalmers, Hooper, Orimoloye and a ton of other good guys still available as well.

Doubt its the commitment. His hitting is all over the place. You've seen multiple of these "huge, athletic, powerful" outfielders look like crap hitting the ball in recent times. Orimoloye looks like Austin Wilson who people popped boners over repeatedly, and he sucks.

Maese was actually #33 on Keith Law's big board. Chris Crawford says there were rumors about us taking him at #29 (that would have been a way under-slot deal). Lots of buzz about interest in the supplemental first as well.
