Spanky99 Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2015 Author Posted June 2, 2015 Holy f***...that's impressive, a 100 starts without back to back walks?
King Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 Clearly you haven't been watching the Jays the last few weeks. K.....................
Governator Community Moderator Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 Zimmermann has not walked back to back batters in his last 100 starts. I puked a little.
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 Jays need to go on a run bad. Yeah pack their bags and RUN the f*** out of DC.
Governator Community Moderator Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 Holy f***...that's impressive, a 100 starts without back to back walks? and you beat me.
Praxis Verified Member Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 Lol at Zimmerman's face. http://www.propertymanagementinsider.com/wp-content/uploads/easy-button-featured1.jpg
LTR Verified Member Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 Zimmerman hasn't pitched more than 7 innings this year. He's going for 9 tonight. He's also going for his first complete game shutout. Go Blue Jays!
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 Jays need to sit curveball and take it the other way
JohnnyLonghorn Verified Member Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 Zimmerman is making mince meat out of our lineup. When will the Jays ever get hot?
vdubmvp Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 Why would we get the ASG with our terrible ballpark?
King Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 Lol............ @ that map shirt Nats feed keeps showing/talking about this guy http://i.imgur.com/5juFy4k.png
Praxis Verified Member Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 Nat's revised game plan; "Screw it, we've got enough runs already - swing at everything."
Governator Community Moderator Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 With Strasburg struggling this year (6.55 ERA) and having his name mentioned in the offseason as a moveable piece this year (under control through 2016), do we have any pieces to target him? His xFIP is 3.76.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 Why would we get the ASG with our terrible ballpark? I could see it as a reward if the natural grass thing actually happens. That's usually how it works. It's a reward for improvements in infrastructure.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 Carrera is an idiot who clearly doesn't get good reads, send him down

King Old-Timey Member Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 http://www.sportsnet.ca/baseball/mlb/blue-jays-to-activate-navarro-from-disabled-list/ WASHINGTON – The Toronto Blue Jays will activate catcher Dioner Navarro for the second game of their split doubleheader with the Washington Nationals on Tuesday. The catcher has been out since April 22 with a strained hamstring and his activation, combined with Jose Bautista’s return to right field, will give manager John Gibbons a lot more flexibility with his roster. “That will clean up a lot,” he said before the opener. “Really, it would kind of go back to the way we started the season. I definitely think that will make us better.” Navarro is expected to take Josh Thole’s spot on the roster, and he will also see action at DH and as a pinch-hitter for the Blue Jays. Gibbons may also ease the load on starting catcher Russell Martin. “We’ll stay away from day games after night games for Russ because it’s starting to get to that point of the season when you start wearing down a little bit,” said Gibbons. “At the beginning of the season it’s a little bit different. That will keep (Martin) a little stronger, too. “Navarro is big part of our team. He’ll do some DHing too because we want to get his bat in there, pretty good hitter.” Gibbons said it’s “very possible” the 26th player the Blue Jays add for the double-header nightcap will be a pitcher. Scott Copeland, optioned to triple-A Buffalo on May 28, is eligible even though he hasn’t been down for 10 days under the rules for the extra man.

It's a reward for improvements in infrastructure. Ah, good point. Of course, I think I'll be skeptical about the grass until it actually happens. I keep feeling like they're going to come up with some other excuse not to make the change.
