jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 (edited) Scott Copeland has been recalled from AAA to back up Sanchez for tomorrow. Roster move is yet to be announced. It'll likely be either Tepera to AAA, Loup to the DL, or Redmond DFAd. Edited May 19, 2015 by jaysfan2014
GreekFatAss Verified Member Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 At this point Loup should be the first reliever down. Tepera has at least thrown strikes.

Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 Is there any reason why he shows up as Dennis Tepera on fangraphs? Anyways, hopefully this is just a temporary move to get a fresh pen arm. The guy was getting a lot of swinging strikes and his stuff looks pretty good.

Anyways, hopefully this is just a temporary move to get a fresh pen arm. The guy was getting a lot of swinging strikes and his stuff looks pretty good. His name is Dennis Ryan Tepera. That's why it's listed like that. And it is likely a move for a fresh arm.. Tepera will likely return next injury or 10 days, whichever comes first.

I have been wondering that for years First name is Dennis, middle name is Ryan
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 I have been wondering that for years According to B-Ref his first name is Dennis. Still weird that fangraphs doesn't have the name he chooses to use.
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 At this point Loup should be the first reliever down. Tepera has at least thrown strikes. Loup has only walked 3 batters in 14.1 innings. That's a good rate. Redmond should be sent down.
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Who and what really doesn't make a Diff, Just Win !
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 No move announced yet I believe!
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Redmond DFA'd? jaysfan2014's sources tell him/her/it that Tepera's going to Buffalo.
BlueJaysGirl Verified Member Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Yes he does. I think he has two options.
BlueJaysGirl Verified Member Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Redmond DFA'd? He's moving back to long relief.
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Thing some have been playing on Coke already not sure it's helped! Lol
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 The Jays should grab Phil Coke. They really should. His ratios are much better than his ERA would indicate and they could use a veteran lefty.
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Everything goes better with a Coke, like Rum! Lol
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Everything goes better with a Coke, like Rum! Lol It's the Real Thing.

KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Yeah I don't think AA looks at that at all. High ERA: he sucks. Well maybe he'll just consider all the Veterin Prezents he can bring.

The fact that we need to consider Phil Coke to help our BP tells you everything you need to know about this season. Coke vs right handed AL East bats would be entertaining.
