Batz, Reyes, navarro, pillar,Cecil at around 44 mill total to seattle, plus 20-23 mill this year, 6mill for Reyes per year and pay the 4 mill buyout too!

To toronto Edwin Diaz, Patrick Kivlehan, Austin Jackson, Fernando Rodney, Danny Hultzen one of miller or Taylor and Marte

And one of tyler o'niel or Garett Morgan

Meaning they add 10-13 mill to thier payroll and we save the same!

Trade Hutchison during his arbitration years. With three years of control left, if he finishes this season strong, he should have good value. I'm not sure his arm is going to hold up due to the workload he's had after surgery. Too many innings on an arm that never pitched a lot of innings to begin with.

If they are giving up for 2016, then Bautista, Edwin, Hutchison, and Cecil are the ones I trade. I would have included Saunders but he'd be worth nothing now. Might as well keep him and hope he bounces back in 2016 before trading him at the deadline.

Do you realize Wheeler's a significantly better player than Bautista?

He's just had Tommy John and won't be available until next year, his value is low at the moment. Plus they don't need him - Harvey, Colon, Degrom, Syndergaard, Niese. Bautista, Reyes and Navarro would all help the Mets - but they won't trade while they're injured.

If the Jays are this craptastic by this time next month, I think it's time for a fire sale.

I wouldn't can AA. He could easily prove to be a fire sale ninja. Gibbons? Who cares. It's not like Joe Madden himself could take this lump of AAAA fecal matter to the WS.

It's not so much about having a fire sale as it is about selling high on Bautista and EE.

The Jays would miss out on a huge opportunity not trading either one now. I know JB is having arm/shoulder issues and he's off to a slow start, but he's 34. If some team will give up a top prospect for him, he has to be traded without even thinking twice. EE is 32, he should have a couple of good years left, but now would be the time to trade him, to get the best return back. The Jays don't have the luxury of just buying any talent like the Red Sox/Yanks/Dodgers, they need to make those moves, otherwise this club will always be average.

You can't believe that, right?

I can't believe that he's 34? Or that he's off to a slow start? Or that he's having shoulder/arm issues? Or all 3? lol

When people look only at batting average is when they say that Jose Bautista is "off to a slow start", despite a 127 wRC+, a ridiculous 18.8% walk rate to 19.4% K rate, while posting an ISO at around career numbers, all of this with a lowly .223 BABIP on a bum shoulder.

At the slow start, I bolded it man? Look at the numbers and figure it out? Of course, I'm not talking about his facts of age and injury.

Ya the last week he's 4/22. You can spin whatever you stat you want on that. He doesn't look the same at the plate, he's swinging at pitches he wouldn't normally. His 19.4%k rate is higher than it's been in 5+ years. I am not saying he's playing like crap, just, that his age will eventually start catching up to him as it does to most players in their mid 30s.

Yet, you're dismissing his BB rate, ISO rate, wOBA, wRC+, his low BABIP...just stop.

f*** man, he's hit better since he injured his shoulder, explain that?

So then the jays would have no problem getting a huge haul for him then. I'm sure you agree that not trading him would be a pretty big mistake given his age and where the Jays are in terms of competing vs. what he could bring back in a trade package right now.

Come July, absolutely. If we rob and steal.

He's also projected to be at 2.9 war this year, what was he the previous 2 years? Again, you are arguing with yourself, I am not saying he's garbage, that would be retarded. I am factoring in his age and trade value. If you read my posts, I am talking about how the time has come to trade him, I don't care what his wrc+ is, it won't matter when the Jays don't make the playoffs again. It's time to trade him to a contender so the Jays can retool.
