GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 Biggest thing with Osuna being up is the durability issue. Not many IP + not many IP in a single year + coming off of a pretty bad injury.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 I think Osuna was always a more polished pitcher than Castro and that the results of the two pitchers are reflective of their present abilities. I didn't perceive that Castro looked particularly flustered on the mound and projection systems that weigh their minor league statistics agree with what has happened. I sure didn't mean flustered. lol more of a case of simply being too fired up. the observation is not just about what he's done in Toronto, but instead how is personality is as a whole and yes the numbers do show that. This a big part of the reason he shouldn't have been brought up. he needs to be more even keeled and that should come with maturity.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 One has been pitching in the pros since he was 15 and the other since 17-18. Big difference
