According to Beeston we can tack on salary midway through the season

 

That doesn't really mean anything though, at least regarding Hamels. What matters is flexibility in 2016 and 2017. If they're capped at 120M, Hamels doesn't make sense. If they can go to 150+, Hamels becomes hugely attractive.
