ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 I didn't see that play. Was it breaking up a double play? My point is that Lawrie never understands situations. I don't think he's trying to be dirty but there is zero need to break up a double play when there is zero chance there will be a double play. Again, there isn't a single other player with similar speed that wouldn't have slid into the bag.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 Lol at put Dickey at shortstop, old can play defense
WryNGinger Verified Member Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 Great throw from RA. Right on the money all in one motion going away from 1B, impressive.

TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 Anyway I can watch a replay? I have no idea, it was on Sportsnet during Baseball Central, so I'm assuming it might make it onto the Sportsnet website video section. It was mostly just an interview where they were talking to him and basically introducing him to the casual viewers.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 Again, there isn't a single other player with similar speed that wouldn't have slid into the bag. Lawrie was not trying for the bag...if he was he would have stayed on the bag. If you honestly believe this than we may as well end this right here.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 Braves broadcast giving Pillar some good reviews. Mentioned the incident in the dugout last year but talked about it as how he turned it into a positive.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 5th SB for the jays this season. Damn you buck

Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 Lol, the stream is ahead of the TV feed.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 What stream are you watching? http://www.strikeout.co/baseball/297769/1/toronto-blue-jays-vs-atlanta-braves-live-stream-online.html Love it so far been watching it for games all week. Today I had to turn off my adblock to get it to work...but then once I was in I just turned it back on.

TheHurl Site Manager Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 Commissioner Silver at the Raptors game today. Two commissioners in Toronto in a week...with neither being NHL. That has to be a first.
Orgfiller Old-Timey Member Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 Awkward frame leading to a walk, ugh.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 Martin not being able to handle that previous pitch probably cost him the K.
