Research Billy Walters, he's probably the only guy I've really heard of that's made a lucrative living off of gambling who didn't start with any significant capitol (like the rich guys who blow & make wads in Vegas). It's fun in moderation on occasion (especially NFL sunday's) but it can get ugly fast, I've had friends who have went off the deep end mainly with the casinos and online poker.

 

Yeah exactly. If you read Trading Bases it's not so easy but it's still fun in small amounts and can maybe get you some pocket cash if you go about it a smart way (i.e. not believing Steamer/Pecota is the bible and making your own adjustments). But good post that's exactly how I look at it.
