if NY is leading after 4 1/2 innings, and the ump delays the game with the rain really falling hard, how slow do ya think the Yankees grounds crew will be in getting the tarp down on the field? haha

P.S. I f***ing love MLB TV. First season trying it, and you can even do monthly subscriptions now. Love it. Not a plug, but get on that s***.

MLB tv is the best choice imo. But was anyone having issues with it opening day? It seemed to be crashing after a few seconds of watching on my phone but yesterday was fine watching BAL/TB. Just don't want to throw away money for something broken.

I won't be able to see most of this one, so I won't mind if it gets postponed.

On the other hand, a double header in Yankee Stadium later in the season sounds like a disaster. Jays-Yankees game are always circuses, so spending more time on the field in one day is like holding a lightning rod during a storm.

I didn't watch opening day because it was on ESPN, but in past years the first week or so it seems to freeze and crash a lot until they iron out the bugs.

MLB.TV is apparently far superior to the internet viewing products of the other major sports. MLB really cares about its quality. I haven't had any issues yet this season and have watched on my computer and phone.

Glad I'm not the only one with this fear.

We cannot, I repeat, CANNOT trail the Yankees by the 5th inning over the next two games. These guys take every shortcut in the book.

If this is accurate, the game may get postponed, and if it doesn't, it'll probably get delayed sometime in the middle.

Considering the Jays luck with freak injuries, I'm not sure how excited I am at the prospect of them playing on a wet field.

Change in the forecast.. game's going to likely get in, as no rain is predicted until after midnight. Tomorrow is a different story..

Yikes. I guess it is just me but every year I am so fed up with MLB TV. I have been on multiple computers, over multiple different connections and consistently have the same problems. I have tried each browser and they all have their own issues for me. Internet Explorer for whatever reason works the best with it for me, but it still gets "stuck" about once every inning and needs to be refreshed/restarted. I have had it for about 6 years and same problems the whole way through, despite the picture quality getting much better. I had none of the same problems with the NHL package I got for the first time this year.

Off topic, but how do more people not talk about how much Gibby is Jack Nicholson's god damn doppelganger?

if a game in NY gets postponed then tack it on the end of the schedule, and then Stroman pitches us into the playoffs with a win in the Bronx on the last day of the regular season.

I don't know how that will be possible, when we'll be up on the rest of the AL East by 25 games...
