closetjaysfan Verified Member Posted March 26, 2015 Posted March 26, 2015 This really doesnt leave much experience in the bullpen. Options or no, im not sure this is a wise move.
ScientificReason Verified Member Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Yeah he should of. Obviously he's talking about his own situation. God you guys need to get a life. s*** got real.
ScientificReason Verified Member Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 LOL the Jays gong show is in full force already. cannot really blame delabar here.
ScientificReason Verified Member Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Am I missing something here? Seems to me we need a one inning type because we have too many multi inning guys. Redmond, Estrada and Castro are all guys who can throw 3 innings out of the pen... The jays have gone full retard.
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Delabar was also upset about being demoted last season so I take his comments with a grain, or 2, of salt. Bigger issue is the roster...again! And yes, the Castro and Osuna promos are dumb. I hope they're about to trade Navarro for some decent reliever.
o2cui2i Community Moderator Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 and THIS is why there is always a risk on MILB signings. Cause dumb shits like Viciedo end up on the team... Hopefully he doesn't. seeing his angry stank face every game will get old. most fans will want him dead within a week if not before the season starts. http://i1103.photobucket.com/albums/g474/zQZXzAgent0/tumblr_lls6sofykf1qct2gq.gif
JaysFan4Ever Verified Member Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Delabar sent down while Hendricks, who has never shown any success in the big leagues still has a roster spot? I can understand they have some good young pitchers who have been pitching very well in so far and some guys out of options like Drabek that you don't want to just give up on, but it's a big of a shock he was sent down. Not nearly as shocking as some moves but he was off to a good spring. I don't buy that about needing a one inning guy thing. With the young starters, how the pen could implode at any time, you'd think having maybe 2 long relievers would be better. I'd say milk Delbar for all he has left before adding young guys to the roster and starting the FA & Arbitration clocks along with burning an option if they don't keep up pace and show they're not ready for the bigs. The good news is once they put Stroman on the 60 DL and probably put one or two guys on waivers, they'll be some open spots to hopefully add guys to. I'm worried about the bench depth and especially at SS. Lack of depth seems to have killed this team in years past.

glory Old-Timey Member Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Hendriks can start games. The Jays need him.
Caper Verified Member Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 I'm not sure if it's been said. But do you think at least part of the reason Osuna made the team was because he was so close to Castro... Castro being very introverted.
fireballW Verified Member Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Wine said his split finger hasn't had the same break and his fastball command doesn't look great. Numbers don't mean much in ST, I'm sure the Jays are going by look. After he was so terrible last season, if the Jays don't like what they see then they did the right thing. Too bad because I was hoping before ST he could setup or even close if he looked like 2013 Delabar.

How much time have they even spent together at this point? This seems far fetched.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Who's the Cuban? Dominican, Venezuelan, Puerto Rican, Mexican the same s***, bro. Troglodytes countries, who still feed thier children with banana in the 21 century

KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Who's the Cuban? Don't know where I got that, Dominican obviously. I shouldn't post before I've had coffee.
GNick49 Verified Member Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 Couldn't they send Osuna down instead? Let him get stretched out as a starter in minors in case of mid-season injuries to one of our starters. Also, get an extra year of team control on him where he wasn't with big club all season
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted March 27, 2015 Posted March 27, 2015 You automatically assumed he was Cuban because of his last name is the same as Fidel Castro's. Pretty racist and you should be ashamed of yourself. I knew he was Dominican before.
