KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 We can't have both Tolleson and Goins on the 25-man can we? Which one do you guys prefer for the job? I'd reluctantly lean towards Goins just because he can field SS, but that bat... and Goins isn't even an above average runner despite his stature I'd prefer Goins too because of the better SS defense. The only catch is that Tolleson is out of options.

I think we need to take Goins because of the need for a backup SS. I'd rather have the + D than the little more bat Tolleson can offer.
S33n Verified Member Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Travis looks smooth out there since those bobbles early on.

JFD Old-Timey Member Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Norris turned it up a notch for Machado. made him his bitch.

Offensively, Tolleson's strength is hitting lefties which is not really a big concern with this team. Thats' why though I like Tolleson in a vaccum, I'm comfortable letting him go. I can't really see him sticking on the roster all year anyways. It's probably DFA him now or DFA him later so might as well see if you can sneak him past waivers now.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Yes, Goins and get Reyes out of the game in every possible situation where were leading in the 7th inning or above. His defense is spectacularly bad. This reminded me of when he blew our long winning streak
Rotator Verified Member Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Norris with the one hard hit ball for the 2b, then settles in and handles the next 3 batters. really impressed with his stuff, i haven't seen him live much I guess.
Frank Menechino Verified Member Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 machado strikes out #overrated Nah, the changeup is just that good. Norris is beasting.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 O's broadcast on Norris http://www.reactiongifs.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/dr00L.gif
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Norris Pitching 1. Reimold hit by pitch (barely on the jersey) 2. Joseph doubles to RF, reimold scores 3. Cabrera grounds out to 2B 4. Machado strikes out swinging (88 changeup) 5. Pearce flies out to LF 2-1 Jays; top 4th
S33n Verified Member Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 This reminded me of when he blew our long winning streak Don't remind us of that! That was literally the turning point from up up and away to crash bang boom. Bautista had just NAILED a guy at first on a lined shot to him in RF.
Frank Menechino Verified Member Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Valencia loves him some southpaws

It's not like Tolleson can come off the bench and pinch hit. Maybe for Pompey if Pillar is still on the bench? But then you could simply pinch hit with Pillar...
baubau Verified Member Posted March 25, 2015 Author Posted March 25, 2015 O's broadcast on Norris http://www.reactiongifs.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/dr00L.gif LOL! To be fair, that is probably how we look as well when Norris is pitching.
Frank Menechino Verified Member Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Does Gindl's bat look excessively long to anyone else?
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 1. Valencia singles to CF 2. Viciedo pops up to RF 3. Smoak singles to LF, valencia to 2nd 4. Gindl grounds into a DP 2-1 Jays; bot 4th
Frank Menechino Verified Member Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 O's broadcast seems to have some faith in Smoak's bat. Also... so jealous of the O's broadcast, it's not even anything special but it's a treat in contrast to Buck & Tabby.

S33n Verified Member Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Douchebag in real life or just in front of a keyboard? He's doing it because people were giving Gruber a hard time the other day when he was play by playing. Spanky et al were saying the same thing to Grub.
Dylan Old-Timey Member Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 It's called a joke, a funny, it's supposed to make you laugh not cry like a baby I kid, all good
Frank Menechino Verified Member Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Dylan is a lot more likeable than gruber though and doesn't deserve such ribbing ^
gruber92 Old-Timey Member Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 f*** i hate when Thole catches.
S33n Verified Member Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 I'm doing it because it makes me laugh and so should you It doesn't bug me at all. Made me chuckle the first time I saw that shtick.
