That is true. ACL is a pretty brutal injury though.

 

Not really. He's out for the season, but it shouldn't affect him at all long term as a pitcher. Guys in the NFL who are sprinting, changing directions, and moving piles of 240+ pound monsters are coming back from ACL injuries. A baseball pitcher is putting much less "strain" on their knees by comparison, which is why you don't see pitchers blowing out their knees while pitching.

brutal, no way we can waste Sanchez in the pen now. I was hopeful one of Sanchez or Norris could have a good year as the #5, but now counting on both of them with little depth after that seems terrible
