burlingtonbandit Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 Interesting that Sam Dyson has turned into a pretty good reliever for the Marlins. I remember someone saying at one time he had the best stuff in the org. which is still absurd considering the pitchers they had.
Statman Verified Member Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 Farrell feeling the pressure in Boston. Could get canned this year. Wouldn't it be something, Farrell wins a world series and could get fired before Gibbons whose teams have not come close to even sniffing a wild card birth in his 3 years.
Horses Fart Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 Where's the Red Sox offense? They're getting dominated by a guy making his MLB debut in Alex "Chi-Chi" Gonzalez.. No because that wouldn't happen to us. Lol. It can be the biggest scrub in history and we would make him look like a Cy Young winner......it has happened.
SaskJaysFan_2 Verified Member Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 Izturis' Jays career is over. He tore his shoulder: http://www.thescore.com/news/772577 Saves him from being DFAed I guess.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 Alas, can we finally say Lincecum sucks? I think we could have said that like 2-3 years ago lol. He obviously isn't the same pitcher as he once was (which sucks because those years he was one of the most dominant pitchers in the game), though he still could get by as No. 4 or 5 starter in the NL and in a big ballpark.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 Oh boy, cue the **** AA comments-- Matt West recalled from AA Tulsa, thanks to Paco Rodriguez's injury. We'll get to see if AA was dumb, or if the Jays fanbase doesn't realize that some guys get cut for a reason (look what we saw with Preston Guilmet recently.) BTW, Matt West was just lit up in AAA recently (2.0IP, 3H, 3ER, 1BB, 1K). So I'm not hoping for much from him.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 Bartolo Colon just hit a RBI double....could have been a triple easily.
BlueBirdBro Verified Member Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 Hamilton with the pinch hit 2 run double in the bottom of the 9th to walk of the Red Sox. Wow.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 Boston's season continues to spiral lower... Josh Hamilton just hit a walk-off double off Koji Uehara to beat the Sox 4-3.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 No loss in the standings for the Jays. Former Blue Jays pitcher Jeese Chavez + Clippard just shut out the Yankees and took 3 of 4 in the series. Makes those Twins loss sting more.. we could've gained more ground! Don't worry.. the Yanks have tough series coming up with the Angels and Mariners (as do the Rays).
ElNik2013 Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 At least the super duper deeper Red Sox lost.
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 John Farrell put the winning run on base intentionally. #smrtbaseball Crafty Farrell.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 Once again, this division is an absolute joke. Nobody wants to win the AL East. Yanks are bad, Rays are a mystery, O's can't pitch or hit consistently, Jays can't pitch or field, and the Red Sox are awful at everything.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 Crafty Farrell. He must want to get fired. Sox lose 3 of 4 to the Rangers, and get the 1st place Twins tomorrow, a team that gave us a hard time with their clutch hitting.. Paul Molitor is probably looking forward to Boston looking to pad his team's lead in the AL Central (KC lost, so the Twins lead by 0.5 games)
Boxcar Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 Crafty Farrell. Way better than Gibbons
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 31, 2015 Posted May 31, 2015 Boy, that D-Backs/Brewers game shows no sign of end. 15th inning, tied at 6.. and the Brewers are forced to use Matt Garza in relief, screwing up the rotation.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 Man, how about that Josh Hamilton..

Praxis Verified Member Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 (edited) Couldn't have summed it up better http://www.sportsnet.ca/baseball/mlb/blue-jays-their-own-worst-enemy-in-may/ Incredible: Wilner actually made some sense, although of course he's careful not to apportion blame as to why we're in the bloody mess with this squad. I'll go check outside to see if the world has ended. Edited June 1, 2015 by Praxis
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 Joey Batz playing in the field tomorrow or not? Anybody know out there!
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 If he can't go I say leave him EE and Reyes on the bench for tomorrow, heal, rest and too think! That plus Zimmerman sucks more against lefties! Lol Smoak, kawa, goins Donaldson carrea colabella pillar Thole and Martin just might work too! Lol Best looking bench we have had all year too!
BigBounceyBlueBalls Old-Timey Member Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 Somebody in Washington is getting fired for this. How does the catcher not question this. Hes a guy that always should know the count. Just Wow! Umps managers and the players all f***ed that up! Lol
TwistedLogic Old-Timey Member Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 http://m.mlb.com/cutfour/2015/05/31/127772220/joey-votto-walks-on-ball-three I can't believe no one said anything Because it was ball four. You can hear the announcer say "the 2-2 pitch" when the scoreboard showed 1-2, so it was clearly a scoring error. Not sure how nobody else caught that.

But they showed all the pitches, he said 2-2 when it was 1-2, so unless they didn't show one of the pitches, it was walk on 3 balls.
HERPDERP Old-Timey Member Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 Never knew Donaldson was this popular. Apparently has more votes in 3B for the ASG than Machado, Beltre and Sandoval combined. Still being beat by Moose, though.
