jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 Yeah they're really gonna miss Souza's replacement level play 0.3 WAR. They really should've kept DeJesus.. now Sizemore has to play every day, and Mikie Mahtook is on the team, despite the fact he should be in Durham. Of course, the Rays are rapidly sinking out of contention.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 Yeah they're really gonna miss Souza's replacement level play Use fWAR
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 Go Mariners! And BTW, Detroit sucks.. the race is going to get even tighter if the O's win and Twins lose.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 Larry Lucchino resigning from his post as CEO. Next up, Cherington and Farrell's firings: http://www.sbnation.com/2015/8/1/9085297/larry-lucchino-out-red-sox-ceo
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Concerned about the O's. One hopes we can take it to them. 1-1 Twins/M's, 3-1 Chi Sox.
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Twins/Yankees are losing. Not concerned about the O's. Will need to beat up on them to make the playoffs anyways.
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 3-run dinger for Melky. 6-1 Sox
jays4life19 Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Milk Man goes deep...6-1 White Sox.
thatoneguy Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 I have a bad feeling guys. What if we fail miserably? http://i.telegraph.co.uk/multimedia/archive/03039/friends-chandler1_3039020c.jpg Can this post be any vaguer?
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Yes. Very difficult. They skip Gray next series. Prob sweep the A's.
saskjayfan Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Yes. Very difficult. they have davis in RF tonight...that can't happen very often
S33n Verified Member Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Out of town scoreboard looking pretty good tonight. Just the O's winning.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Jays miss Severino. He's making his debut Wed. vs. the Red Sox. Eovaldi, Nova, and TBA(possibly Bryan Mitchell again). Big break for the Jays..

Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Yanks lose. Shark pitches tmrw. We gotta win tmrw.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Is Sabathia in the pen? So it'll be Price vs Nova? Sabathia pitches Thursday. Tanaka pitches Tuesday.
BlueBirdBro Verified Member Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Figures in a game where Rodney strikes out the side, one of the other ones f*** it up.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Twins win two back of wild card..chasing two teams. FFS But only 3 back of the Angels, who continue to struggle, losing 8 of their last 9 (mostly because their offense stinks outside of Trout and Pujols. And considering the O's and Jays play them this month, they could be in some trouble.)
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Season over... Shut up. We play the Twins on Monday. We're far from out of it. Stop being some dang negative! Besides, the Twins have the Yanks, Orioles and us on their August sked.
Trouba95 Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 But only 3 back of the Angels, who continue to struggle, losing 8 of their last 9 (mostly because their offense stinks outside of Trout and Pujols. GD Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 You can thank Mark Lowe for this. bwahahahahahaha this is great
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Lol you're an eternal optimist. Mercy. Look, the Angels lost CJ Wilson to an injury, and their offense is basically dependent on Trout/Pujols being healthy. That lineup is actually quite weak.. Victorino/DeJesus/Murphy aren't going to save this team, as they're basically replacing the AAAA options they were cycling through.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 You can thank Mark Lowe for this. It's just one game! I'd be more worried if it was against a team we're chasing, such as the Yankees, Twins, O's and Angels, who we will face in the next two months.
havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 You can thank Mark Lowe for this. If a baseball pitcher giving up runs irritates you so much, then go watch something else.
