Good news for the Jays--Sox lead 3-1 on Houston. Look, the Astros really need to acquire a SP.. outside of Kuechel, that rotation is mediocre and far below the Angels, and will likely mean the Astros will not be playing in October. Especially with no Springer in the lineup..

wat? McCullers has been amazing, McHugh's been good, Velasquez is solid. Their issue might be inning limits on all the young guys.

I so wish AA would have gone out and got Josh Fields at the start of the year after the Astros's signed 2 relievers and pushed him down into a mid inning role.

and each time it happened, north felt his pain too

I dont think so. While Kemp is on DL, North's team performs better.

Mets sac-bunting runner to 2nd in the 1st inning? Is Yost rubbing off on everybody or what?

The ball spun 3 feet the other way on the spin...Johnson had no chance.

But the second baseman (Peterson?) was freaking hilarious.

The Orioles appear to be willing to talk about former first-round pick Kevin Gausman in possible trades,as they look for ways to get better.

Gausman for Sanchez

Orioles can't seem to develop there arms, this reminds me of Arietta where they just went sour on a guy.

I hope the Jays would jump all over that. Imagine Gausman would be Arrieta 2.0 situation. Its a shame he keeps on being jerked from the rotation to the pen.

You're going to have to give up something for him. They need an outfielder.

Figure they'd ask for Pillar or Pompey.

DD is still the GM right? He should prove his loyalty to the Jays by accepting DJ Davis. :)

So uh..Noah Syndergaard threw a pitch so nasty it put Escobar on the DL

Funny part is, Papelbon with 2 innings pitched and then he jumped all over the guy who hit the winner and fist pumped him. I would be scared to have a guy like that playing with me.
