Synd drops his ERA to 3.11 with 11k in 8IP. That trade is going to hurt for years to come, and that's without TDA. Embarrassing.

Gomes is half way to Young in career WAR. It's possible AA ends up with 2 of the 3 worst trades in franchise history.

Sanchez is to Nicolino as Syndergaard is to Sanchez.

Its astounding how your posts have increased now that you the Jays are losing, and you didn't make any posts during the win streak.

Off the top of my head, I've posted in the last week about:

- Hutchison being a good pitcher

- Travis being a good 2B

- Carlos Gonzalez being awful

- Aaron Sanchez being markedly better than Justin Nicolino

- Not blaming Gibbons for sitting Edwin without knowing why

I think i made one post about Jeff Hoffman sucking so far, but that has nothing to do with the MLB team. It's not like I've been all 'lol Jays suxxxx'

Dickey trade has a good chance to be the worst in baseball history.

Man, just can't stop looking at Noah's line from last night. It is so depressing.

We're stuck with Sanchez. The real bust of the Lancing 3 :(

I'm pretty sure a lot of people here wanted to keep Sanchez more than Synder.

Just like how people here want to keep Hoffman over Norris

If "baseball history" means 2010-present, then yes.

I actually was more sad about trading TDA then Sydergaard at the time. Was hating every moment of the jpa era and was looking for sweet relief. TDA got hurt and that was that.

Please don't forget about Wuilmer Becerra who was also in that trada and is now a highly touted prospect for the Mets. Here are his stats:

Additionally the J.A. Happ trade has the potential to be another long-term disaster depending on the development of Woj, Musgrave and Pérez, although Pérez is now with the Angels.

Sox pitching prospect Brian Johnson recalled to join Ed-Rod in the Sox rotation. Expected to join the rotation post-All Star break, as it looks like Clay Buchholz's heading for a lengthy DL stint due to his "elbow tightness", of which we're waiting for MRI results.

Woj is repeating AAA at 26. He looks like nothing at this point.

I still don't understand why you guys are so infatuated with Syndergaard. It's borderline homoerotic

There's nothing borderline about it. I'll shamelessly admit it.

The fat kid in high school is on his way to being a major league ace.

Noah at 10 years later meeting "Suck my balls now, bitches. I need someone to bring me a glass of punch, and someone to tell the bitch called Andrea that now I'm great."

Jays might have a chance to get Matt West back. Dodgers have DFAd him in order to make room for Brandon Beachy. But really, what is it with him that Jays fans like about him? He's no more than minor league filler who has yet to conquer AAA, and has been mostly an emergency arm in the minors.

How do you like me now, cheerleader who wouldn't give me the time of day, and who now is an unmarried mom who goes to night school to be a stenographer while working at a Kinkos during the day to pay the bills?

because his stuff is good. And you never know when it clicks for relievers.

This team has two pitchers who have been DFA'd before - Hendricks and Schultz. And now they're pitching meaningful innings.

Jason Grilli torn his achilles, done for the season and likely his career at his age.

He was a reliever target for the Jays.

Actually, never went to a school that had cheerleaders. Lots of girls didn't give me the time of day before my bands actually got popular though... (and lots don't now, since that's been a while... :P )
