Tony Blengino, who got the steal of the draft (Cutch at 8) then proceeds to take Kolten Wong with his second pick, just so much dumn.

I don't disagree, but I think there were easily better players available.

I also think Posey only went where he went because he and Olney share the same first name.

If you only get 6 years of control, then a lot of those picks are very bad. A lot of elite vets like Donaldson and Miggy should have gone much higher.

I was in a bit of a disagreement on twitter with someone that said Donaldson wouldn't project to be top 30 in WAR over the next 6 years (starting in 2016). I figured that he would pretty easily, given how elite he is right now, and how he's still young enough that he might still peak for another couple of years.

Yankees in the midst of imploding a 7 run lead in the 9th...now 8-5 with the sax drunk, and nobody out.

Now 8-6 with a walk.

8-7 runners on the corners, 2 away.

Gameday says Betances got a few borderline/generous strike calls when he was having trouble locating. The benefits of wearing pinstripes.

You better watch what you say about Tony Blengino, friend, lest you want to get e-clotheslined.

Adam LaRoche hit a game tying HR off Joakim Soria. DET/CWS now in the 10th, tied 3-3.. nothing is going well for Detroit right now. As a result, it's opened up the entire AL (except for Oakland.)

And what a terrible way to end a ballgame for the Tigers! Wilson hits Avisail Garcia to cost the Tigers the game with a walk-off HBP... Rangers are now tied with the Rays in the 2nd wild card, pending the Rays/Mariners game's result.

Hold your breath, Rays fans... the chances of a fire sale in Tampa because of the team dropping in the standings could increase if Jake Odorizzi misses time:

I think that is 8 straight losses?

It is. Suddenly, you have to wonder if it's time for the Tigers to blow their roster up before they turn into the AL equivalent of the current Phillies.

Worst losing streak since 2005, BTW.

Isn't Napoli still down like 30 lbs?

While waiting for the Rays/Mariners to score a run, I can tell you Lind had a 6 RBI game tonight (3-6, HR, 2-run single.) Gibson sucked tonight..

You wanna know what sucks more than being a lifelong Jays fan ........ Having the Mariners be the only other team in baseball that you like and follow

Not sure if it was brought up, but Brett Lawrie almost accidentally killed someone last night with a broken bat. Woman is not in good shape.
