Laika Community Moderator Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 Yep. Boston raped the O's in Andy Milla deal When the trade happened Rodriguez didn't look like this though. As soon as he got into Boston's system, the numbers improved in every way.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 Pretty dominating performance by Ed Rod so far.. but let's see what happens 2nd time thru the order.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 Bogaerts got hit in the wrist. Peguero PHing for him, with Holt moving to SS.. Boston fans better hope Bogaerts didn't break his wrist.. Bianchi isn't on the roster anymore, as he was DFAd, and their only healthy SS in AAA is Devan Marrero, who isn't even on the 40, considering Mike Miller, another infielder, would be in Portland (AA) if Jemile Weeks and Sean Coyle weren't on the DL and is not a prospect.

Lol I bet raysjays writes for Rotoworld.
LTR Verified Member Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 Red Sox aren't competing this year anyway, Bogaerts or no Bogaerts...
LTR Verified Member Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 Crappy pitcher or not Martinez is now on pace to go 16 consecutive starts allowing 3 runs or less... setting a franchise record apparently... that is some kind of divine luck
Laika Community Moderator Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 Red Sox aren't competing this year anyway, Bogaerts or no Bogaerts... lol, their chances of winning the division are probably as good as or better than every team aside from New York, at this point.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 Red Sox aren't competing this year anyway, Bogaerts or no Bogaerts... What? The chances Boston win the division are so high.

Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 I just don't see it... Lol Pedroia hitting the ball well, Bogaerts playing elite SS, Betts will hit, Boston's isn't that bad, and the division suxx

And despite Ed. Rod's performance, it was against a lefty-heavy lineup. Unfortunately for him, he will be rewarded for his first MLB win with a demotion back to AAA Pawtucket, likely never to see Boston again until the Red Sox blow up their roster in July when the team is 10 games out of contention, or with the Phillies or Reds or someone, when he's traded in a desperation move for an expensive pitcher.

jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 Impressive debut by Eduardo Rodriguez in his first MLB start. (7.2IP, 3H, 0ER, 2BB, 7K). He'll be enjoying that win on the plane ride back to Pawtucket.. until either the Red Sox cut Miley or Kelly (they have options), he's likely heading back to the minors.

flafson Verified Member Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 Dat Swagg! That's a serious upper cut. With a swing like that he must have around .100 average.
baubau Verified Member Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 After four starts, Noah Syndergaard has been worth 0.8 WAR. Drew Huthison leads the Jays at 0.9. Yikes. The swinging strikes haven't been there but Syndergaard has looked great. Has good control of an electric arsenal. Please, he'll bust. That 246 wRC+ and .750 BABIP isn't sustainable. God damn he's such a stud. Damn you AA!! :'(

How did the Mets get so lucky? Oh wait..... But at least we got..... Oh wait.....

Oh wait..... We got hosed on that trade, that I agree. The problem is that the fanbase demanded we do something big back in 2012 to get us into contention.. casual fans weren't going to wait 3 years for Syndergaard. Now if only the Mets position players could hit.. they're near the bottom in offense, and that might be an issue considering they're chasing the Nats in the NL East.

Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
