De Aza DFA. I think he would be an excellent fit.

Seems like an obvious upgrade over Carrerra, one that would allow the Jays to maitain the cautious approach they are now pursuing with Pompey.

Archer (now out) 95 pitches through 8 scoreless (12K's), King Felix 86 pitches through 8

Boxburger gives up 3 run HR to Cruz next inning.. Rays lose. I guess we should be thankful Maddon is gone?

I think his monster in Cashman last year was further than that even. That was a 3 hit day too I think

Cash has got amazing praise from the Front Office guy I know. I have no issue with going to a reliever over a pitcher going into a 4th time facing batters even when he's going great. Boxberger struck out the first two.

I don't like it. You take out a guy that's dominating and it makes the next guy look easier, at least gives the opposing team a confidence a boost. 95 pitches and a dominant performance with a team in the play-off race... gotta leave him in IMO.

Live by the numbers die by the numbers. Rays FO would love to pull most of their starters 2nd time through the order.

There goes one trade candidate

Robert Murray ‏@RobertMurrayBBE ·10 mins10 minutes ago

Scott Kazmir, a prime trade candidate, was removed from the game due to injury. Some saying he was pointing at his left shoulder. #Athletics

Today, the #Dodgers recalled OF Chris Heisey from Triple-A Oklahoma City and designated RHP Sergio Santos for assignment.

Wow, my timing is great. I just accepted a trade proposition for him earlier today in my 12 team keeper.

It's OK guys. Syndergaard might be a monster, but we have Dickey.

Hold me.

Is Thor better position player than Pillar?

Do you have the big balls to pinch-hit Thor for Pillar?

Thor vs Sanchize

Best Pitcher: Thor

Best Hitter: Thor

More Funny: Thor

Handsome: Thor

Philanthropist: Sanchize (Aaron walk the 8th and 9th hitters to improve the OBP of them both)

I supported the Marlins trade at the time and have since recanted the folly of my ways. I was skeptical of the Dickey trade from day one and now I'm on the verge of thinking that this may just prove to be the worst trade in Blue Jays history, eclipsing even the Jeff Kent for 2 months of David Cone debacle.

At least the latter trade could be slightly mitigated on the basis of a world series championship.

RedSox acquire OF Carlos Peguero from Rangers for cash. Peguero batted .186 in 70 at-bats over 30 games with Rangers
