havok24 Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 Kevin Kiermaier is very good at teh besibol. Beisbol is hard, but this Kiermaier kid is good at it.
BTS Community Moderator Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 North's boy Erasmo getting shelled by Miami.
Laika Community Moderator Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 I don't understand why they didn't just give him the start. Letting a short reliever pitch two innings before turning it over to a real starter accomplished nothing. lol @ real starter
BTS Community Moderator Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 I don't understand why they didn't just give him the start. Letting a short reliever pitch two innings before turning it over to a real starter accomplished nothing. Yeah I was thinking the same thing. Very odd decision.
reedjohnsonfan Verified Member Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 Eovaldi/Miley both looking pretty good. Good grabs for both teams.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 Eovaldi has pitched reasonably well
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 I don't understand why they didn't just give him the start. Letting a short reliever pitch two innings before turning it over to a real starter accomplished nothing. That and he was terrible in Seattle. Rays only brought him in due to the gutted rotation caused by injuries/illness to Cobb, Moore, Smyly and Colome.. none of Karns, Andriese or Ramirez are expected to stay with the Rays once the regulars get healthy.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 Eovaldi incredibly wild.. 2 WPs this inning. And the Yanks D isn't helping either, as he gives up a 2 run single off of Daniel Nava. In comes Chris Martin..
reedjohnsonfan Verified Member Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 Eovaldi incredibly wild.. 2 WPs this inning. I posted too early. Now the wheels are falling off.
Boarding Verified Member Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 A typical Yankee K Lol, they are fun to watch right now.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 I posted too early. Now the wheels are falling off. And the Yankees offense isn't helping much.. and LOL Petit....
reedjohnsonfan Verified Member Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 Chris Martin sighting. He's been okay, 4.10 xFIP. Naw. He was hitting his spots and getting ahead the first 5 innings. Fastball was touching 97 and his splitter looked good. The 1 K inflates his xFIP but he was pitching well going into the 6th. Edit: Apparently he touched 100, I missed that one then.
BTS Community Moderator Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 Kevin Gregg brought in to protect a 1-run lead against the top of the Cards order in the 7th.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 Kevin Gregg brought in to protect a 1-run lead against the top of the Cards order in the 7th. And predictably, he gives up 2 hits and is yanked for Manny Parra. DFA Gregg already!
bendera3 Verified Member Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 Do people here think we should have a Former Jays thread where we track former Jays Lolz or if things they do well?
reedjohnsonfan Verified Member Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 Do people here think we should have a Former Jays thread where we track former Jays Lolz or if things they do well? JPA was released. Was that posted? That would be a nice thread, go ahead and start it!
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 **** Kevin Gregg.. Parra just gave up the tying run that was Gregg's responsibility. Only a bad Matt Carpenter baserunning error prevented it from being worse.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 Now Miley is having some trouble with the strike zone..
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 BTW, the Red Sox pen really is questionable... there's no high-end arm or prospect in there like the Yanks, Jays and Orioles have.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 What is going on with the Nats?? They're losing to Philly.
Atothe Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 Not really, still getting ground balls. Bogaerts hasn't looked good at shortstop. You have to walk three guys to "walk the bases loaded" lol You're right
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 What's wrong with Bogaerts? Is it his range or his throwing?
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 Why do I have a feeling the Sox bullpen is going to blow this lead?

jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 Miami is doing EVERYTHING to try to get Tampa a win... Phelps and former Jay with the best stuff in the org... in 2012, Sam Dyson, walking the park. Bases loaded now, with the tying run at the plate.. 8-4 now.
jaysfan2014 Old-Timey Member Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 And the Rays have stormed back into the game.. 8-7 Marlins now.
